Amazing property, location, and owner!
First, Alison is such an amazing and thoughtful host. We chatted for about a half hour prior to my family’s stay at her property, just to get to know each other a little more, and for me to inquire about the expectations of the property given I would be staying there with 2 small children. I instantly connected with Alison due to her warmth and her family’s story. Second, wow the property itself is absolutely fantastic, very large spacious rooms which were great for allowing my 4 yo and 2 yo space to play with their toys and allowing us parents to get some space from them :). The bedroom lanai is particularly wonderful when you just want to read a book or enjoy the pool view. The condo itself is literally steps away from the pool which was great. Alison and her husband literally thought of everything when making the stay comfortable, I highly recommend this property and Alison, I look forward to staying here again in the future!

Great Location and Comfortable Accommodations
The location was great to access and explore so many beaches and other fun places. It was nice to have two shopping centers so close for quick food pick up or dining experiences. The grounds were very pretty. It was so nice to have two lanais. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of beach ready items in the garage to choose from. The chairs, snorkels and coolers made for an easy stay.

Amazing location and property
My family and I stayed for 2 weeks at the colony villa townhomes. Alison’s home was beautiful and centrally located to the beaches and the pool literally steps away, which was a huge plus for my family. The house was clean with all the amenities needed for a long stay. We were married at The Four Season’s and returned to celebrate our 20th anniversary. If you want one of the best dinners of your life that is the place to go! The home is quiet and you never hear other people next door. When we come back for another family vacation we’ll definitely be staying here again.

Perfect location
Excellent home with all the amenities required for a 12 night stay for a family. Great communication with owners. Only downfall was possible air conditioner issue the last 2 nights that wasn’t a huge issue since we were leaving soon. Overall a fantastic place with fantastic owners.

Spacious and well-situated home base for Kona Coast fun
We have been to the Hawaiian Islands several times and stayed in many properties - NOTHING has topped this amazing condo in the Waikoloa Colony Villas. It's new, clean, and beautiful. It's got a full-service kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, washer/dryer, and plenty of common space, including both a ground-floor lanai and master bedroom terrace. And it's got a wide variety of sports equipment in the garage to help you have tons of fun across many activities. But perhaps the best thing about the condo is its location. Walk out the lanai and you are literally 20 steps from an amazingly beautiful swimming pool and hot tub. Walk literally 30 more steps to the gym. Walk another 50 steps - literally! -- to the tennis courts. You get the idea. The condo is also a short drive (a matter of 3-5 minutes) from the local supermarket and other shops/restaurants. Ali is a wonderful host and expressed sincere interest in ensuring we had a great vacation -- and she succeeded! Highly recommended!

Great location and friendly owners
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was convenient for our purposes with easy access to the swimming pool area. The location is a few minutes drive to several beautiful beaches. The owners have boogie boards, beach chairs, cooler bags etc. for you to enjoy with your beach activities, which was a pleasant surprise. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed quite a few indoor and pool area dinners. Overall, a lovely experience!

Good stay
The condo is quiet and had a really nice living room.. There were a bunch of beach toys and accessories that we were able to use, which was helpful. The new laundry machine was broken when we arrived but the owners arranged for us to use the neighbor's machine and got it fixed. There was good communication about it and they handled the situation well.

Everything was great
We used the condo as a home base for exploring the island. We didn't spend a lot of time in the condo. We mostly ate slept there and ate breakfast there. We had a few dinners also. It served our purposes very well. We especially appreciated the coolers, which we used every day. It was very nice to come "home" to the condo after a long day of exploring. Everything was very clean an Lee and Alison had everything nicely organized (check-in, etc.). All in all a great place and hosts.

Lee & Ali’s Waikoloa Townhome
This townhome was beautifully furnished with many upgrades and was very clean and inviting. It was a two level condo so we didn’t have anybody above or below us, which made it very quiet. It was located directly across from the pool which made it very convenient to either BBQ on the grills or take a dip in the pool or relax in the jacuzzi. It was only a 5 minute drive to shopping at the Kings and Queens Shops where we had many restaurants to choose from, a grocery store, and other unique stores to visit. Just up the street, about 7 minutes, was the beautiful A Bay Beach. We spent a lot of our time at Lava Lava Beach Club, eating and enjoying drinks right on the beach while listening to live music. We would go in for a swim at this beach often We renamed this beach Turtle Town because of all of the sea turtles there on the beach and in the water. Lee and Ali were very kind, helpful, and accommodating and had everything we needed stocked in the kitchen for cooking as well as a Keurig Coffee Machine which we used daily! In their garage they had beach chairs, beach towels, beach bags, snorkel and fins, umbrellas, coolers etc. for us to use. They even had 2 adult sized bikes for us to ride. I can’t say enough about Lee and Ali’s beautiful townhome. We are definitely coming back here and have told many friends and family about this wonderful place!

Loved the Villa
The condo was very clean and every amenity was perfect! The balcony upstairs is a nice spot to cool down and enjoy the sunset. I stayed a few weeks and it was convenient to have a kitchen as well as a washer and dryer. It is perfectly located for a beach day, golf, dining or sight seeing. The owners are incredibly friendly and answered all my questions. We will definitely stay in this villa again!

The only thing better than this unit was the owners , you are only steps from the pool and barbecue area . The location is in the sunniest area on the island and close to some beautiful beaches and activities , and you will not find a more accommodating owner , this is a must see to believe villa and if your thinking the big island book this place to ensure the trip of a life time

Luxurious Accommodations in Paradise
Our family of four (2 adults w/14 & 11 y.o.) enjoyed our 10 day stay in Ali & Lee's beautifully maintained and spacious condo. Our timing - during Hurricane Lane's slow arrival, stay, and departure - meant we spent more time than anticipated inside, sheltering in place. There were plenty of board games, puzzles, and cards to keep everyone entertained. Not to mention the three very large TV sets throughout the place, with a selection of 50 DVDs! This unit is located very conveniently within the large complex and is close to surrounding shops, restaurants, and beaches. The grounds are meticulously manicured and plants are lush, in full bloom. The unit is just steps away from the gated pool and BBQ grill entrance. The space was very quiet and walls are soundproof; we didn't even realize the unit next door was occupied. The kitchen is well-stocked and served us well. There is ample space to store goods from Costco (just 30 minutes away), enabling for healthy, affordable meals at "home". Some seasonings and spices were available for use, cookware was in great condition, and there are all sorts of small appliances (toaster, rice cooker, keurig, etc). Beds were very comfortable. Air conditioning functioned very effectively during the muggiest of days. The full-sized washer/dryer (located upstairs) were quick and easy to use. Water pressure was fantastic! Towels were soft, clean and plentiful, both for the bathrooms and for beach-use. Beach outings were made much easier thanks to the plentiful assortment of beach supplies! Coolers, chairs, umbrella, snorkeling gear, swim goggles, boogie boards, and so much more...Plenty for all of us. We were so impressed and excited to hit the beach whenever we could! There were also bikes and golf clubs for use. Accessibility notes for those with mobility concerns/young children: Unit entrance is loose stone/stepping stone, not solid. Flooring is tile, hardwood, and rattan rugs downstairs. Carpeted upstairs. There are two tiled steps down into the family room, plus two-story stairs, limited rails, leading up to bedrooms and full baths. Low entrance bathtubs are available in both upstairs baths. Upstairs lanai is well enclosed, no fall risk. Communication with the friendly owners was easy and appreciated, especially given the unexpected weather event experienced. We have absolutely no reservations about Ali & Lee's Waikoloa condo and highly recommend it for anyone considering it. We plan to return soon!

Beautiful place for an amazing vacation!
We would highly recommend staying here if you’re going to the Big Island. The property is extremely clean and well-maintained. Even though we saw pictures ahead of time, we couldn't have been more thrilled when we opened the door to this condo! Every room is so beautifully decorated. It felt like we walked into a magazine. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed. It was so convenient to open the back door and have the pool steps away. The view of the pool from the lanai was beautiful and relaxing as well. All the beach supplies (coolers, umbrella, boogie boards, chairs, towels) were an added bonus. This quiet condo is in a lovely gated community. The grounds are impeccable. It is centrally located for getting to many spots on the island easily, especially on the north end. We loved the pool, hot tub, and grills the condo offered! It was nice to have a reserved parking space right outside the condo too. We would definitely recommend this condo and hope to stay again.

Beyond Wonderful in Every Way!!
My husband and I are so pleased we found this wonderful place to stay on our recent trip to the Big Island with our 4-year-old and 1 year old. It exceeded every expectation and Lee and Ali were wonderful to work with. They were very accommodating and easy to communicate with. If we needed anything, there was never any hesitation on their part to help us. The condo had everything we needed and more. Everything you may need for the pool or beach was available to us. The location itself was ideal and we found having the pool right outside our lanai was awesome with our two little ones. The complex was quiet and family friendly and we utilized the pool and workout facilities there many times. I absolutely loved everything about this place! The décor was simple and beautiful, the beds were comfortable, and every amenity that you may have at home was there to make our stay easy and worry-free. I also loved that the condo is in the area of the Queen’s Marketplace and King shops where stores, groceries, and restaurants are right there for you to enjoy. Another bonus is being within a short drive (10-15mins) from our favorite beach Hapuna and in good proximity to Kona and Waimea. If you are hesitating to book, don’t! You will not be disappointed in choosing this as your place to stay. I am excited to start planning another trip and look forward to working with Lee and Ali again! Thank you!

This villa has everything! Wonderful Condo in a Great Location!
We researched the heck out of vacation rentals trying to find the right place for our family to stay. We have a 2.5 year old son and didnt want to share a hotel room so a condo seemed to make sense. Having a 2 bedroom condo was the right choice for us and this place did not disappoint. Lots of room to spread out. Very nicely furnished - not your typical cheap tacky furniture and cookware. The master bedroom is ideal with a nice king size bed, huge bathroom and a walkout deck. It was a huge life saver that the home also has beach equipment, such as beach chairs, boogie boards, towels and kids beach toys. We struggled with if we needed to bring some of those items, or buy them when we got to Hawaii, so this made it so much simpler. The location is great too. The pool is right out the back door so that was convenient. The condo is perfectly located to get to a lot of other areas on the island so if you plan to explore this is a good place to stay. The community has a grocery store nearby, gas station and plenty of shopping (mall) for whatever you may realize you forgot or need. The beach is a bit of a walk, but we knew that going in. Besides, with a child and all the items you need to carry we were going to drive if it was across the street. Most of the really good beaches you will want to drive to anyway (Mauna Kea & Hapuna). And this location is only 10-15 minutes away (which is really close on this island). Ali and Lee were great hosts as well - very responsive. Highly recommend this condo!

Such a beautiful condo in a perfect location. Whether you’re looking to stay and enjoy the pool, drive just a few minutes to one of the best beaches on the island, or explore the unique landscapes we found this a perfect starting point. With easy access to Saddle Road taking you from the west coast to east coast in less than an hour you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the beauty of Hilo or the volcano as we did I. The bicycles came in handy for a quick ride to the market and shops, as well as exploring the path to the beach just south of the Hilton. Plenty of snorkel gear and beach equipment to enjoy the beautiful coves up and down the coast. Wish we had a couple of more nights to take advantage of using the barbecues at the pool. Next time!

Lovely, well appointed villa
We’ve been coming to the Big Island for 28 years and this is by far the nicest place we’ve rented. The villa has been nicely updated, with comfortable furniture and a well appointed kitchen. It was very clean and has been well-maintained. We enjoyed having 2 stories and not worrying about people above or below us. The grills at the pool were very nice as well as the pool area itself. We appreciated having access to beach chairs, coolers, an umbrella and beach towels. Lee and Ali were very responsive to our few questions and made the entire process very simple. I would definitely plan to stay here again.

We just loved our 16-day stay in this beautiful and comfortable condo with our adult son and wife. We decided this villa has the best location of all because it is so close to the pool and bbq’s but still very quiet and private. We noted that pride of ownership is very much present and inviting. Beautifully furnished and decorated, and utensils and cooking implements (especially sharp knives) were great and made cooking a real pleasure in a very modern kitchen. The beds were so comfortable my back pain disappeared until I returned home! We loved having a washer and dryer and always had instant hot water in very modern bathrooms. We also really appreciated having a bathroom on the main floor. Walking distance to the Queen’s Market and the Hilton was really enjoyable and the Island Market has such a variety of food, we often just shopped there instead of driving to a supermarket. Lee and Ali are the best owners we have ever encountered and were very honest and sincere about making sure our vacation went smoothly - thank you to both of you for making our stay so very enjoyable. You really are special people. We would definitely stay here again and HIGHLY recommend it to others.

Spacious and comfortable condo
Very well equipped, updated condo. Nicely decorated. It was great having an extra 2 piece bathroom on the main floor. We also had everything needed for a day at the beach and 2 bicycles at our disposal to ride around. There are 29 buildings with 6 units in each building but only 2 pools for the whole complex; so it was a bonus to have this unit just steps from the pool and BBQs. The property was immaculately maintained. The maintenance staff and neighbours were very friendly and helpful.

Perfect!
This home is perfect for your vacation. It's quiet and elegant and well-equipped with everything you need to simplify your stay! The pool area is within just a few steps from your private patio and feels like that of a luxurious hotel, but without the crowds. Stop at the fish market after your day at the beach and bring home your assortment of choice to barbecue pool-side and enjoy on the patio. Soak in the hot-tub after dark and stare at the stars! After your long day, retreat to the master bedroom for a bubble bath and pamper yourself in the very large en-suite bath. Anything amiss? Not to worry as Lee and Ali are on top of it all! They are the most wonderful people I have met and are extremely accommodating. Please seriously consider this unit. Truly an upscale, beautiful place to spend a vacation

Relaxing Villa
We enjoyed our stay at Lee's villa which is a beautiful unit. It was very clean, well maintained and supplied. It is close to the pool, tennis court and barbecues. The lanai is very cozy and overlooks the pool. A beautiful view and yet quiet. The location is one of the best in the complex for those who enjoy the pool. Parking is right at the front door so very handy. The owners are easy to work with and they have maintained this unit as their own home. The kitchen is well stocked with the normal cooking utensils and such. We felt at home in the unit.

Second Stay at the Miller’s Colony Villas
We returned to the Villa with our family of four and enjoyed a longer stay. Some of the changes that we appreciated was the additional ceiling fans, the update to the pool area, and the new barbeques. This fully furnished home makes for a very convenient stay with everything provided for cooking and barbequing. We discovered several new beaches this time and our familiarity with the area now makes our vacation time go smoothly. A highlight of this stay was swimming with the dolphins. Looking forward to returning soon.

Spacious, clean, very comfortable stay
This is a beautiful villa that was spacious and comfortable. Felt like a home away from home. It was especially nice to have multiple bathrooms and a kitchen to cook our own meals and make the stay very convenient. Would definitely stay again!

Private Tropical Paradise
My family and I stayed here for 10 days and never wanted to go back home :) This is a perfect place because you walk outside your back patio and there is the pool ! We have a 4 and a 7 year old so it was really convenient for us. Wake up, breakfast, pool, lunch, board games, go into Kona or go to Hapuna Beach, swim, dinner, and sleep :) Hapuna is just a 10 minute drive and we also went to the Hilton Hotel which is a 5 minute drive... they have amazing beach access, snorkeling, and swimming with dolphins. Plus the shopping is fabulous :) Also, their is a great grocery store and additional shopping/restaurants 5 minutes a way... literally down the street from your condo! We went to the Hilton Luau which was actually really good-- great food, excellent dancing, and not a ton of people.

Beautiful home with everything you would need.
This condo was one of the best my family has stayed at on the big Island. We go almost every year. The condo is aprox 20min north of Kona, with two stories overlooking the pool and on the golf course. We felt safe and very much at home. The owners have great taste, newly decorated, with beach chairs, boggie boards, bikes, golf clubs.. Was amazingly stocked and saved us time and money in not having to buy or rent items. Great quality beds and bedding. I highly recommend and will be returning as soon as I can. 😊

Poolside Paradise!
We were lucky to find this lovely Colony Villa in Waikoloa! It has been updated and tastefully decorated and the description of the amenities is spot on! We enjoyed the pool and hot tub just steps away from the villa, and found some great beaches to swim and snorkel both nearby (Spencer beach) and in the Kona area (Kahalu'u). There are well maintained and good quality beach chairs, umbrella, towels, masks, snorkels (it's all there!) After beach time we came back to the quiet Colony Villa complex to relax and make dinner in the well-appointed kitchen. The beds are super comfy too! If it sounds great, it really is! Thank you Millers for being gracious hosts in your Hawaii home!

Beautiful place to stay
We spent 4 weeks in this beautiful redone townhouse. We will definitely stay there again! Very clean and spacious. Easy to find. They had boogie boards and snorkeling equipment for us to use beach towels and beach chairs too! New appliances and everything you needed in the kitchen. Master bedroom is huge with private bathroom. Second bedroom is spacious and also very nice. it was great having the swimming pool right outside the sliding doors and the patio area was perfect for enjoying our morning breakfast. So nice to stay in an updated clean "home".

Cajun Couple Stay
My wife and I had the best time at this beautiful condo! The inside was immaculate and the beds were very comfortable. Accommodations were fabulous: Kitchen - everything you would ever need; Keurig, all the comforts of home in the kitchen. Bathrooms are very clean and spacious. Bedrooms: Large and very comfortable beds. Balcony looking over pool. The location of the condo was 20 steps from the beautiful pool which we enjoyed thoroughly. Other great qualities about this place is: 1. Location to the beach and other wonderful sights within minutes. 2. Located in a gated community. 3. Walking distance to the King and Queen Shops and great restaurants. 4. Golf and Tennis within walking distance. The VERY BEST PLACE WE HAVE EVER STAYED IN HAWAII! (We have been to Hawaii many times) You will enjoy your stay here.
