« Hospitality was EXCEPTIONAL. LOVE that they're pet friendly. Walking trails right on the property where i could walk the dogs. Had dog bowls waiting which was so cool because i had managed to leave their water bowl at home. Comfortable bed/bedding. So... my friend and I stayed in the "White Oak" cabin. Breakfast was generous and delicious—Sue is a wonderful cook. Tom, with his deep knowledge of Colonial and Civil War history, offered excellent recommendations on places to visit and dine. Our mornings were made even better by engaging and informative conversations over breakfast. »

« Everything about the Swanendele Inn was exceptional: the location, the accommodations, the facilities, the decor, the hosts, and, not least, the breakfast. In fact, you could spend several days just exploring the remarkable antiques and artifacts around the place. However, what made the strongest impression was the fiery glow of dawn though the pine trees outside our balcony every morning in the Margeret Brent suite. Rhododaktylos, "The rosy-fingered dawn": I never understood the true meaning...

"Chambre Super propre et très beau. Agréable séjour! De belles fenêtres avec des vues sur la marina! Wow! Nous avons par contre trouver les ascenseur très long à monter et descendre, presque non fonctionnel, sur 3 ascenseurs en face, seulement un marchait temps plein, l’autre par intermittence. Un employé nous a fait passer par un ascenseur de service pour nous accommoder! Merci! "
