Escape to Ocean Pearl, a serene beach house located on a peaceful cul-de-sac backing up to a tranquil canal leading to Back Bay. Perfect for a quiet getaway, our home offers amenities that rival five-star resorts, all in your own backyard.
Highlights of Ocean Pearl:
Private Pool & Hot Tub: Relax in our pool (May-Sept) or enjoy the hot tub (available year-round) and included in your rental.
Outdoor Activities: Fish or crab from our private dock, play yard games, grill out, or dine al fresco in our outdoor dining area.
Proximity to the Beach: Just a 0.4-mile walk to one of the best and least crowded beaches on the east coast. Enjoy the waves, build sandcastles, hunt for sand dollars, or spot dolphins in the ocean.
Perfect for Multiple Families:
Top Floor: King bedroom (sleeps 2) with en suite bathroom, living room, dining room, kitchen, two queen bedrooms (each sleep 2), and a shared hallway bathroom.
Bottom Floor: Queen bedroom (sleeps 2) with en suite bathroom, small sitting area, full bathroom, game room with ping pong table with sleeper sofa (sleeps 2), and a bunk room with four twin beds (sleeps 4).
Family-Friendly Layout: Ideal for families with kids, the floorplan allows for just enough separation for adults and children to enjoy their own spaces while still being close by.
Additional Information:
Parking: Accommodates up to 6 cars in the driveway. No on-street parking allowed.
Check-In/Check-Out: Check-in at 4:00 PM, check-out at 10:00 AM. Early check-in (mid-Sept to April) available for an additional $25 per hour.
Damage Deposit: A $500 damage deposit hold on your card starts at check-in and is released 7 days after check-out, provided no damages occur.
Recent Updates:
November 2021: New bedroom sets and mattresses, living room furniture, paint, carpet, wall art, smart thermostat, Ocean Pearl logo and signage, and replaced kitchen tools.
March 2022: Installed hot tub.
September 2022: Replaced pots and pans.
April 2024: Refreshed kitchen items that were worn.
Important Notes:
Hot Tub Maintenance: Cleaned between guests. Charges apply for emergency calls or damage caused by misuse.
No Smoking, No Pets: Our home is a smoke-free and pet-free environment.
No Parties: Our home is not a space for parties. No glitter, sequins, etc.
Security: Ring camera monitors motion and sound periodically during stays.

Summer trip to Virginia Beach

The property was clean and everything was in working order. We had a wonderful stay and communication with Edward was quick and to the point.

Overall the location and the home was nice. Was not expecting the pool to be opened but it was and it was heated. Didn’t know the pool people would be there doing things with the pool but that was fine as no bother to our stay. The garbage in the driveway did smell some and not sure when it was last put out for pickup by others staying at the house not did not age r stay there. Could not eat outside at the table on deck as rhe screen door had no screen and lots of bugs/bees but also know that time of year. Last night there we did encounter a roach and were a little caught off guard but only seen one and were leaving the next day. Notified them and were told that they did have pest control there a few weeks before but just was for routine control. The location was very nice and close to everything.

Only complaints were the outdoor areas could use up keep and cleaning. Lots of webs and rusty deck nails coming through. Only complaint inside is the comfort of the beds. Other wise the cleanliness and spacious house was great for me and and my friends.

Incredible is an understatement

A few of my friends and myself came down for an event and never wanted to leave, the place had everything advertised and more in a very convenient location. Super spacious, just a walk to the beach, and endless restaurants within a short drive, but the pool, hot tub, dock, and outdoor areas were enough to keep us all entertained. The home owner was always a call/text away and treated us with the utmost respect while the inside and outside of the house were well maintained and had modern appliances and locks. The short and sweet; this place was fantastic, the sooner we can come back the better, definitely planning for it already!

RELAX and fun with Family

The giant pool made our vacation!! It was huge we could all swim and play! Everyone was in the pool so it kept all of us together! The layout of house is perfect for multi generation families. Plenty of space. Downside: need extra refrigerator and there is space for it downstairs. If it sleeps 14 need more fridge space and ice maker tiny. We had to buy 1-2 bags of ice per day. No way into bay from dock, we managed but hard. We would definitely return!

Beautiful home

It is a beautiful home on a beautiful canal with a beautiful pool. What more could you ask for! Pool was heated to perfection and the hot tub was also a nice thing to have. We stayed here with our friends and our combined 5 children (ages 1-7). It was a kid friendly home and very comfortable. Host responded to inquiries so quickly throughout the process which is always appreciated.

Modest yet tasteful

Property was very easily accessible, very convenient to the beach, canal, groceries although i wish the property had been directly on the beach or maybe a block away from the beach for easier and more convenient access. Appliances were impressive, every room had adequate sunlight and breeze.

The only issue I have is I paid for the pool to be heated and it was not heated therefore my guest and myself could not enjoy it. Otherwise the hot tub and rest of the home was fine.

Family mini-vacation

Two day stay to take kids to play in the sand, dip toes in the ocean (except for a few brave souls who jumped waves very briefly), and swim in the heated pool. Perfect place to entertain our extended family! Pool and hot tub were a big hit!
