« The space was clean, well-curated, VERY well-stocked, and easy to access. We arrived to a beautiful cabin where the host had thought of everything! There were plenty of dishes, a coffee maker, a water heater, spices, and clean towels. The tap water was delicious and the outdoor space was stunning. « Despite the cold/rainy weather, we had a wonderful weekend vacation. The host Rudy was great to work with, giving us lots of suggestions for indoor activities and restaurants. The house is beautiful and in a great location. The heated bathroom floor was a bonus! We'll be back in the future. »

« I can't recommend Rustic Retreat enough for a stay in Lake Placid. Comfortable, cozy and very clean. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessities. The kitchen had all appliances, silverware, plates, pots that one might need and the location was close to a lot of good hiking and the VIC. It was great to have the kayaks and dock on the property -- Lake Clear Outlet is very peaceful without a lot of houses and the current/wind is more manageable than when you kayak on a big lake.
