« Great place to stay for a fishing trip. Nothing beats walking onto your boat to go fishing at 6am and then coming home for a relaxing brunch by the water. Sue is a wonderful host. All the neighbours are friendly and Marks Point has a really strong community. The two local cafe's are both amazing. We did have one small problem with people using the jetty without permission and respect of the guests. Sue managed the issue very well which is all we can ask. »

« Everything in the house was set up well. The location was perfect, just a couple of hundred metres away from the shops and eateries. The trip to the wineries was an easy 10 minute ride. »

« My partner and I could not recommend this place more! It is secluded, yet a comfortable walk into town. The surrounding bushland and river make for such a beautiful location. The hosts couldn’t have been more wonderful and accommodating, we didn’t arrive until later in the evening and they had set the fire up for us, making the cottage warm, cosy and so inviting from the get-go. The cottage was well stocked with seasonings, tea, coffee and cooking essentials - making home cooking easy and...

« Absolutely love the location and Facilities as the place catered and provided for children and adults. Communication was easy and problems on site the groundskeeper was able to resolve right away. Kitchen equipment were limited but we were able to make do. Heated pool was still a bit cold so not ideal for winter time but the hot tub was lovely. Recommend for large groups with families as the kids were well entertained. »

« This cottage was the pefect getaway for our wedding anniversary. The spa and fireplace was a great setting during winter. Having the place allowing our puppy made this choice even better. Simone and Dan were very helpful and I would recommend Dans wine tour - he knows his wines and we had such a fun group.100% recommend when choosing a place to stay in the Hunter Valley. »

« Jolis cottages (cuisine et séjour inclus) avec des belles terrasses pour profiter du calme après une dégustation de vin, en plein cœur de la Hunter Valley. Une bonne alternative aux hotels. Seul bémol : la propriétaire n'est pas très versée dans la connaissance des vignobles alentours donc pas très utile pour les conseils sur les visites, mais elle se rattrape avec une large sélection de brochures et adresses. Les amateurs de vin devront se renseigner ailleurs ou avant. »

« My family are having a very happy time here. It's a truly beautiful, peaceful place. As soon as my daughters got here they screamed because they loved it!! The sunset here was fantastic. My teenage daughters, my dog Winnie, and my husband and I had a very peaceful and relaxing time. For city dwellers, a place like this is a much-needed escape. Elena was also very friendly and easy to contact, so there were no inconveniences. »

« Lovely quiet little cottage in a very quiet location. short walk to the some little shops inclinding cafe and walking distance from theocean, beach and lighthouse. »

« Loved it! Great central location and beautiful surroundings. Had a bit of trouble getting the stovetop and oven to work. Apart from that everything was great and we loved the fireplace! »
