« A well designed space with all rooms well prepared for a holiday stay. We really appreciated coming in on a cold day to find the unit heated, it made us feel very welcome. Books, dvds, access to TV all helped us relax. Parking was excellent. There was a bit of a glitch with initial communication, could have been our lack of computer skills! It would have been helpful to have more booklets / brochures info about local areas available. A map or two? Our GPS gave us some help but we haven’t found...

« Lovely, quiet place with the lake lapping virtually outside the back door. Perfect location to rest and recharge or to explore the environs of Lake MacQuarrie. The hosts, Malcolm and Penny, who live in the property next to the accommodation, are very helpful and friendly. They helped to orientate us when we got there and we really enjoyed chats with them both. The property is well equipped with a microwave and electric hob, fridge, kettle and toaster etc. There is a spacious shower room to one...

« Great location with good cafes/restaurants close by.If you are walking at night time there are no street lights near the accommodation so need your phone torch as minimum, but the main street is well lit and only 100m at most from the accommodation. »

« Fantastic little home away from home. Close to shops and restaurants. The small touches make a big difference, like; an outdoor fire pit for cold winter nights or BBQ on your private deck for warm summer nights. It was a relaxing stay and nice to wake up to the bird songs of the local wildlife. »
