« The Brookside Inn of Laurens is a wonderful find. The owner clearly cares deeply about making his guests feel welcome and well cared for. He makes fresh breakfast every morning, which are simple but excellent and he will work with you to accommodate special dietary needs within reason. The rooms are all color coordinated and he has updated electrical outlets to include some built in USB outlets. Small details like this can be found throughout the rooms and house. »

« Beautiful remote location. A throw back in time!! And the hot tub was a nice touch! Host was very laid back and kind. Food was yummy!! »

« Staff was friendly, dietary options, bed was comfortable, water containers in room with comfotable lounger. Loved the power strip to accomodate my electronics. What can be improved is the parking for larger vehicles but a space was found for my husbands truck. Though the bathroom was tight, the room was spacious. Cooperstown is quiet but you feel relaxed and refreshed after your stay. »

« We loved everything about the beautiful place, what a mansion! It was a warm welcome by the owners. The room was amazingly huge and beautiful decorated. We slept like babies under the soft linen. We got a great tip for dining, so we could indulge with 3 course dining. Breakfast was made with a lot of love, we could request exactly what we wanted. 🤗 »

« This is not AirBNB or Hotel, this is HOME. Owners are welcoming and caring. Breakfast is awesome! It reminds me of my younger years when I stayed with my grandparents in rural area. It’s quiet and gives me sense of relaxation. »

« The cottage we stayed in was adorable with our own little porch. John was so welcoming. The food for breakfast looked amazing even though we didn’t have the chance to eat. They offer thoughtful touches like a s’mores set up for you if you want to sit by the fire pit and fresh cookies to take during the day. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast if you are in Cooperstown. »
