« We stayed in a tiny houss that was well equipped. Upon checking in we met Henry who works on the property. He was great, helped us get settled and answered all our questions. The site is on the Hudson and has nice views. The onsite restaurant was great too! Shout out to Rachel behind the bar and Matt our waiter. »

« My adult daughter, our dog, and I stayed for 2 nights - it was quaint and cozy. We had the gas fireplace on twice when it got chilly outside, and bought our meals from local restaurants and ate them inside the cabin. We went for walks and explored gift shops - the cabin was in a great location. Austin (property host) was excellent - answered my questions and gave suggestions for dining and beaches. My daughter and i had a wonderful, relaxing stay. »

« Property is exactly as explained in the description. Owners are very responsive to messages. Everything you need to know is in the book they leave you and it's very detailed. Everything your could possibly need and then some at the cabin. River is right in the back yard and great swimming. We brought some tubes and spent alot of time just floating around. « We loved our stay at this place. The location is great and it’s a short drive to lake George. Great fire pit and lots of room. The deck overlooks the Hudson River which is great for fishing. The host was awesome. She got back to me very quickly on a lot of questions that I asked. I would definitely stay here again. »

« The General's Cabin was a wonderful place for my husband and me to celebrate our anniversary and my birthday. The cabin was exceptionally clean. Melissa had thought of everything you could possibly need. Inside had a well-stocked kitchen, a great coffee/tea bar, lots of little extras to make the stay enjoyable, extra towels, blankets, pillows etc. In the bathrooms there was a basket of soaps, lotions, shampoos and even toothbrushes in case you forgot to bring your own. Paper products provided...
