« The house is very cozy and well located - close to restaurants, grocery, gas and about 20 min to Gore mountain. Furniture, fixtures, etc are a bit dated but overall was comfortable and had what we needed. Plenty of towels, and host provided shampoo, soap etc which many rentals dont have. We did have a few mechanical issues which were generally resolved- host was responsive although its hard to believe they were previously unaware of them. House had a very damp, musty smelling basement that...

« Overall I was very happy , mostly because of the “on the lake” location. The property manager’s communication was excellent and he was very customer focused. The only drawback was that the house could use a little TLC. Everything’s was a bit run down and a coat of paint and some minor repairs wouldn’t a long way. All of this is overshadowed by the tremendous location and great communication. If luxury and high end is your thing, this place would be a problem. If you want a spectacular location...

« I will say that overall this was a fantastic place to stay. The only negative is the property photos are a little confusing as it looks like the river is closer than it really is. The front and back porches were the places to hang out. The younger adults loved the massage chair. Hot water is plentiful for showers. Fun fact: the intersection nearby is crazy. Many close calls between cars. Seriously though it was everything that our family needed for this vacation. »

« We absolutely loved our stay here ! The location was perfect ! Close to everything. Lake George less than 20 mins away and Stewart's gas station right across the road for last min things or ice cream after dinner ! The owners were soooooo nice and accommodating! Very pleasant and helpful ! We loved all the trees around the property. Very shady ! And steps away from the lake. We will be back for sure. Thank you ! »

« The cabin was perfect for what I needed. It is a peaceful retreat right on a beautiful lake. We were in the area for a funeral with family so we did not have time to enjoy any lake activities (plus it was too cold), but this house would definitely be a great place for summertime activity. Everything about the house was perfect and came with everything we needed.....sheets, towels. bath products. The kitchen has everything a cook would ever need plus more! I highly recommend staying in this...

« My friends and I rented this home for a weekend reunion. I loved the open concept and huge dining room table so we could eat all of our meals together. It was easy to have a few people working in the kitchen at once which was nice too. Some friends enjoyed exploring the property and we also went on a beautiful hike with a great view of the lake just a 5 minute drive away. It’s super close to town if you need to get anything at the grocery store but still feels remote! Communication with the host...
