« I spent 4 nights in a single room. The room: it's basic, but the bed is very comfortable despite its spartan appearance. The linen was clean and a towel was provided. There is no air-conditioning, but a wall-mounted fan works perfectly well. Basically the room does the job considering I wasn't in Sydney to camp at the hostel. « Rapport qualité-prix c'est excellent, première expérience dans ce type d'hébergement et définitivement mieux que ce à quoi je m'attendais! « The hostel is close of everything: Harbour Bridge, Victoria Building, Central Station and of course The Opera House. The hostel organized a day at Bondi Beach all included and free. Really Nice Hostel. But people don't respect the kitchen and don't clean dishes after use. Thank to Xbase team to clean every night even if it is not among your tasks. »

« Bed room clean linen clean Bathroom clean Big kitchen Check in quick Not enough bathroom No Wi-Fi in room No enough washing machine and dryer 8$ for a towel! Staff at the reception are ok especially a french girl who gave me very good advice, but one of them (a tall girl long black hair) was really aggressive and no co-ordinated with what was been told to me by another staff on morning this was on check out. »

« L'hôtel est au 6eme étage et à l'angle de Pitt street. Emplacement central 20mn à pied de l'opéra, à 10 de Chinatown et de central station(train direct de l'aéroport. Ces rideaux créent une véritable intimité, lit confortable, propre, idem sanitaire, il y a un coin cuisine et un salon. Rien à redire pour le prix. »

« Helpful and friendly staff. My room was clean although there was a odour but this was dealt with efficiently. Great location very close to the metro, bakeries and restaurants nearby. Highly recommend this hotel if you are wanting somewhere close to the city but still want a quiet, relaxing place to sleep. »

« Parmi les auberges que j'ai pu faire, celle ci est bien la pire. L'accueil peut aller mais dès qu'on rentre dans la chambre où l'on trouve des détritus ou des vêtements parterre on se rend vite compte de l'état de l'auberge. Du sang séché sur le matelas que l'on voit car on doit faire son lit. Apparemment le ménage est fait une fois par semaine à ce que j'ai compris, ce qui rend la salle de bain d'autant plus insupportable car on retrouve des cheveux, des insectes, et des rasoirs, savons...

« Bon séjour, bien prendre en compte qu'il y a un bar juste en dessous qui s'arrête vers 2/3h du matin ( parfait pour le jetlag) Sinon pas beaucoup de chambres donc ambiance cosy et un super rooftop. »

« The place was clean and bright and light, which was lovely. Website says towels are provided but you are then asked to pay $15 to hire a towel (and this is not a straightforward process). The rule about not talking in the bedrooms seems too strict (what if you and your roommate/s want to talk??). Also, there is no lounge space to hang out (perhaps a table and chairs in the landing area?). »
