« Cadre magnifique, hôtel et restaurant parfaits »

« Lovely room we stayed in(rye). Looks like it was a living room in it's past life. Lovely decorations and styling. Loved all the hares! (Not hairs). Really comfy bed. Dog hairs evident on the sofa and on the floor in some areas though which is is a negative. « Excellent quiet location. Traditional pub atmosphere with log fire welcoming you on arrival. Breakfast was superb especially the eggs royal. »

« The staff courtesy was good »

The actual building is rather old, which reflected on some of the fixtures and fittings. The windows were the original old sash type and actually opened. However,...

« Altogether a splendid experience. Would certainly return when in that part of Norfolk. »

« A beautiful building but in need of renovating, most of it was clean but a lot of high dust and cobwebs, the dining room was not clean at all, tables needed cleaning and food left uncovered with flies around, the staff was polite and friendly. »
