We understand that your experience at The Vieques Guesthouse was not what you had hoped. You did not actually stay here so we would kindly ask that your review be removed as it does not represent your experience of staying here. Your reservation was made for 2 adults in a 3rd floor room which are reserved for guests ages 16 & up. Unfortunately you were not arriving as 2 adults and were actually 1 adult and 2 children under 16. It's really important to represent the members of your group accurately when making reservations so that your reservation is made at a property and in a room that fits your needs and those of the property and other guests. We would love to host you at The Vieques Guesthouse in one of our 2nd or 1st floor rooms, and we're certain that you would enjoy your stay.

Hi, Shuheng. You did not stay at our hotel so your review should be removed. You booked a room on our 3rd floor adult only space by making a reservation for 2 adults. But you showed up with a 10 year old child despite clear communication about our child policy in 2 separate messages through Expedia and 1 text message to confirm that you were 2 adults -- you did not communicate that this was not true.Had you accurately represented who was traveling by entering 1 adult and 1 child age 10 you would have been directed to rooms available on the 1st & 2nd floors at our property or directed to other properties on the island that would meet your needs if we did not have a room available. Many properties on Vieques do not allow children at all so it is important to always make sure you accurately represent the travelers to avoid any issues. It is also helpful to read the policies of the hotel and the messages sent to you that state these policies very clearly. We wish the events of your arrival would have been very different as we can guarantee you and your daughter would have enjoyed your stay here. But it is not our job to change the experiences of the other guests that booked rooms intentionally on our adult only floor.
