« Loved staying at the French Mill. The Romany Wagon was definitely an added bonus for the girls. It gave them a truly magical and memorable experience. Ideally located and charming holiday rental property for visiting the island. Only sorry not to have been able to actually meet our host Rebecca who was very communicative and helpful before and during our stay.. we were also pretty fortunate with the weather. Hope to come back one day … »

« We spent 3 nights here over easter weekend Plenty of room for 4 adults (one in a wheel chair ) and 2 small dogs The property is right in the heart of the new forest And close to beautiful beach of Milford on sea lovely walks, Plus local shops just up the road Extremely comfortable every thing you will need in the house And bonus of a beautiful garden We were very lucky with the weather Highly recommended place to stay »

« The cottage is ideally located, only a short 5-10 minute drive to the coast and is on its own in a private part of the retreat. The enclosed garden is perfect if you have a dog with you and would be a lovely space to enjoy in the spring / summer. The kitchen had everything you could need and the bedrooms are light and airy, although little things like making sure there is salt in the salt grinder would be appreciated. Thoughts where the cottage could benefit: adding a mirror in the bedrooms...

« What a wonderful property! My parents, my sister and our collective children stayed here for 4 nights in February half term. The beautiful photos don't even do this house justice. Beautifully designed, with ample space for our family, we had a fantastic stay in West Wittering. We were lucky with the weather given the time of year, but on the one day when we had torrential rain, the large communal spaces meant we were happy to stay inside. The kitchen has everything you could need and it is so...

Everything you could need in the home (not sure it mentioned a freezer but it has one for your convenience. « The cottage was lovely and had everything we needed for a comfortable short stay with our children. I had a welcome text to check everything was ok, so nice to know someone was at the end of the phone should we need. Good base location situated on the grounds of The Garlic Farm and the shop, restaurant, cafe and games room all came in handy. Parking was easy too. Short drive from Ryde ferry port and Sandown beach. We also had a lovely meal at the recommended The Pointer Inn pub down the road....

« Stayed here with 16 members of the family, aged 10 months to over 70. Games room was perfect, very well stocked kitchen , bedrooms were good, in general the property needs a hug, tired in places. The beaches are accessible by only the sure footed, and we’re not suitable to sit on as there was evidence of rock falls.having said that the coastal walks were perfect »
