The best stay in any hotel for a long time. Taj Nadesa Palace made us feel at home right from the first step we took into this hotel.
The staff made every effort to look after us and our needs. We wish to return one day.
Staying in Varanasi is at times challenging, so one needs an oasis like the Taj Nadesa to feel comfortable.
One of the finest luxury hotel we have stayed. We visited varansi for one night on April 24 to visit kadhi Vishwanath Temple, each and every staff took care of us like their own family members. Food was awesome and we will go back with our kids in winter
The Palace is an enchanting property. The hotel facilities are superb and the special touches of the musicians at meals and the horse carriage and driver are singularly outstanding.
The meals offered are excellent.
The staff is well trained, well supervised and exceedingly courteous and helpful.
It was the most amazing stay ever..Especially Ganesh the manager at the palace was so welcoming.U wont find a better comfortable and welcoming place in Varanasi. Thanks to Ganesh , Prashant and the 180 yr old horse cart guy(sorry forgot his name) for his briefing about the history of the palace..Thanks to the taj team..
We had an excellent time at Taj Nadesar Palace . The property is a palace with 12 rooms and are well maintained on 48 Acres of land with lot of history to be discovered. The local cuisine we asked for was excellent
and the service and hospitality out of the worldMore
The hotel isn't a"palace" in as much as the guest house for the palace somewhere else. Lots of heads of state stayed there. But its only ten rooms. SO it "feels" like a luxury bed and breakfast, not a "palace". There is nothing except the Ganges and the Hindu religious events. That's not a bad thing. Just be aware it is rural India. Its more of a destination for doing nothing and relaxing, than activities.
We adored our 2 days at Nadesar Palace
The Mountbatten Suite that we stayed in was so special- little touches like the photo of us taken at reception were put in a frame in the room and a fresh fruit bowl was topped up daily. Added touches such as fresh rose petals were added to our room along with a sweet treat beside the bed each night.
The staff were so lovely - always eager to please and make sure our stay was special.
We loved the horse drawn carriage ride in the 200 year old carriage - now I can truly say I have sat where royalty has been (King George and Princess Mary had also ridden in the same carriaige) The glass of champagne to celebrate the carriage ride was a special surprise too.
We loved our round of golf (5 holes complete with caddy and umbrella - for the heat), the croquet and the lovely swimming pool.
The spa facilities were an added bonus too.
A huge thankyou to all of the staff for a once in a lifetime treat. Now anywhere we go we will compare the hotel to the Nadesar - The best Hotel we have ever stayed in
