« Parking stinks in Newburyport but you can’t beat the location of this studio apartment. A yapping dog in a neighboring room seemed to be quickly handled by the property owner which we appreciated. Make sure you understand parking restrictions/time limits of the parking beforehand. A great place to explore from and go back to at the end of the night but not necessarily a comfortable room to retreat to on a getaway. »

« there was a problem with the lock and we could not leave on time, but the owner helped us solve the issue quickly. otherwise, the home was fine and would happily stay again the next time we are visiting. »

« We and our dog stayed in the small one room suite. It was very clean and had everything we needed: a kitchen, a private bathroom, a very comfortable bed along with a dog bed! The location is in the heart of charming Newburyport yet quiet. We will be back. »

« Perfect location on Plum Island. 2 minute walk to breakfast at Mad Martha's. Could not ask for better views! Very clean inside with comfortable beds. Well-stocked kitchen and lots of room to spread out. Nice to have access to laundry for sure. Main complaint was outdoor furniture on shared deck space was mostly rusty & broken, not as shown in the photos. We had access to the top floor deck but no furniture up there? « Loved, loved our stay at DogDaze.We love Newburyport for its history, walk ability and proximity to the water.Dog Daze is a short walk to downtown shops and a very short walk to the water and a lovely bike path that hugs the Merrimack River. We never needed to move our car except for a must drive to Plum Island. The apartment is 2nd floor with a steep but short stair climb. Very well appointed with comfy beds. Clean and quiet. « Our stay was seamless. We visited Plum Island for a long weekend birdwatching excursion. This was the perfect spot. We travelled with our cat for the first time, and considering how cats can be, he warmed up to the space right away. Michael sent all the information we needed for our stay, prior to our arrival.
