"Wonderful river experience, majestic cypress trees, clear water, rope swing, variable water depths for all ages from wading infants to swimming. Historic house is impressive, very comfortable for our group of 16. The key area for improvement was the cleanliness of the house."

"This is a gorgeous place, but it really is in the middle of nowhere⊠like I had to point my phone at a satellite to send an SOS message. They have wifi, but my room was out of range. My bunk room was right next to the community bathrooms. It did have an AC unit and a small refrigerator, no microwave. ..."

"We were the only people on the property. It was very quiet. Be careful walking across the grass in sandles, as there are stickers. There is a slight sulfur smell to the water when showering. Overall, the place is pristine. The covered wagon is lovely but consider it a comfortable camping ..."

"This location is absolutely fantastic. Direct access to the Frio river for swimming, fishing or just enjoying the beautiful view. We were a family group of all ages, and everyone had a wonderful time. Easy communication with the owner for questions. Highly recommend."
