A great get away for fisherman or a night to spend cuddled up with a loved one. Spend your days on the river, trout fishing, kayaking or floating the day away. Picnic under the River Side Gazebo & play a few rounds of corn hole. Inside you will find a Newly Renovated Kitchen with bar top seating, perfect for gathering friends & family. The natural log beams & propane stove warm the space making it the perfect place to cozy up on cool nights. In the morning enjoy your coffee on the porch with the sounds of the river & wildlife in the distance. Endless Outdoor Recreation just a walk or short drive away. Our stay at the cabin was absolutely wonderful. The kids enjoyed fishing at the river and eating breakfast/lunch at the gazebo. The cabin was very clean and having a fully functional kitchen was a great commodity. We will definitely be coming back for another trip.

We needed a place to stay on short notice and we were so thankful the cabin was available. It snowed about 4-5 inches that changed some plans a bit but it was very scenic and the cabin was cozy with everything we needed. Connie was very helpful and accommodating. Would definitely stay again!

The cabin and property are beautify and rustic. While the cabin is older and authentic, it has been nicely modernized to include its bathroom and full kitchen. There are a number of local attractions and activities within 60 minutes to include caverns, horse riding, and hiking. The only potential improvement (for winter trips especially) would be a 2-4 person hot-tub outside on the porch.

The property was exactly what we were looking for. We spent a few days hunting in Smoke hole and the location of the cabin was perfect. The river access was really nice as well. I would highly recommend this cabin.

We booked this last minute and are so pleased with our decision! This cabin has everything you need to just get away from it all! The kitchen is fully stocked, it has a washer & dryer, full sized stove, and even a dishwasher! Oh, and WiFi which is helpful with the limited cell service in the area. Seneca Rocks and Spruce Knob are just a few of the amazing places to visit while in the area. Again, we had a great stay!

Great little cabin that was comfy and very inviting. By far one of the best cabins we have ever stayed in. Loved the closeness to the river and the drive on up the road was absolutely beautiful with the fall colors. As we were leaving we were already making plans to come back!

the house was easy to find and easy to get into. the river and mountain nearby are wonderful. hiking was phenomenal and nearby cities are pretty. the house was clean and had everything we needed. was a perfect getaway and perfect for your hiking/adventure needs. would go again and recommend you to go! 10/10 :)

I grew up camping in the Smoke Hole area and as I get older, I desired a more comfortable stay! This little cabin is the perfect place to stay when you are looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. Not only is the cabin absolutely beautiful, it is stocked with every single thing you need to make your stay perfect. The location is just beautiful and you’re close to the water and any other attractions that you would like to visit in this rural part of West Virginia. I can’t wait to go back.

We loved our stay at the Cozy Log Cabin. The cabin was beautiful, cozy, and clean. The setting was so peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed relaxing on the porch with a cup of coffee and we had a lot of fun fishing in and exploring the river below the cabin. We would definitely stay here again if we’re in the area.

Cabin with all the modern amenities inside. Easy to get to. Has a short walking trail to the river. Walking trail across the road from cabin. The only con we have about this property is that it’s beside the road so there’s a lot of traffic noise.

We now consider this little cabin in the woods, our home away from home. This little cabin is close enough to everything around the area yet far enough away to have a quiet relaxing trip. The cabin is super clean and well stocked with everything that you would need to enjoy your stay. The cabin is exactly as described. This is our second time staying here and we have no complaints! Thank you so very much!!
