Hillside B&B
It was a charming place to stay in Twillingate. I enjoyed my room and bathroom (both very spacious). Breakfast was fabulous: best pancakes I have had in a very long time!

Breakfast included- lovely quiche but the toast was soggy. Great view of the harbour and we were lucky to see the last iceberg of the season. Nice walking trail behind the house. Quaint historic home with an interesting history.

winston and wavey were great hosts and responded to any need that we had breakfast was enjoyable and table conversation ... great location is great to access the Iceberg boat and to see the icebergs in the harbour

It was just up the hill from Iceberg Quest which had kitchen parties 7 p.m. wuth Terence a takented folk tune button accordian player. Clean, good breakfast. All round good folks. Thankful for washer and dryer, 3 weeks into out trip by truck camper.

We liked everything with the exception of the noise level. We were in the suite on the main floor and there is a suite above us. Every step they made the floor boards creaked, really creaked and we could hear every conversation, their TV etc. I’m not sure if they could hear us as well.

Room with a view
Lovely place, beautiful room, welcoming hosts. Breakfast was great. Iceberg view out the window. Walk to restaurants and central to other activities. Highly recommend.

Beautiful cozy little house with comfy rooms and big bathrooms, in a convenient location with on-site parking. The hosts are very friendly, the porch is perfect for an evening (locally brewed) beer in the sun, and the breakfast is freshly home made every morning and absolutely delicious. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Wonderful li'l Hillside B&B
Hillside B&B exceeded our expectations! Maxine (owner's niece) greeted us when we arrived and was so lovely and pleasant and allowed us to check into our room early. The room was decorated very nicely down to smallest details (our room was lavender coloured themed). We travelled with our 7 year old son, and the room and bathroom was spacious enough for us. Best feature was meeting the other guests during breakfast, we ate together and the hot breakfast was fantastic. Waverly (the owner) came in to greet us and just wonderful folks running a sweet quant B&B with a wonderful view of the harbour. I would love to visit and stay with them again.

Perfect place!
Beautiful place, great service! We arrived late at night and a note was left for us and everything was perfect. The entire hillside is full of wild blueberries- leave time for picking or eating in mid August!

Breakfast small
Did not meet the host until breakfast the following morning as they were away but did have instructions on the front door as to what room was ours. We were told what time breakfast was being served- no query as to whether that suited us or not. Breakfast was minimal. Some canned fruit salad- very small amount for 6 guests, a muffin each and then a bread casserole. No meat or offer of protein -ie yogurt or egg. do not come for the breakfast. Room was spacious but no shampoo provided and just one bar of soap.

The hosts/owners were so kind, the breakfasts were delicious and our room was spotless. The house had such authentic character. We were with Winston and Wavey fot 3 nights and would stay again at any time.

The description of the site says that it includes toilet paper. This confused us because it implied that some Newfoundland stays didn't! But they all do.

Room was up very steep stairs. Ceilings very low especially for anyone over 6’. Breakfast was ok, nothing special.
