« First visit here and very pleasantly surprised. We arrived about 7pm and immediately you could feel it had a very good ambience. It was busy with most people enjoying an eveing meal. Staff were pleasant and helpful. We hadn't booked a table for our evening meal as we weren't sure of our plans when booking the room. « Our first time at the Blue Bell, but wonât be our last! Really comfortable beds and pillows in a nice room with a lovely new bathroom. Food was excellent and all the staff, from Keith , the landlord, down, are friendly, kind and helpful, and all were happy in their jobs. We will be back! »
"The staff were very friendly, and the location is dreamy â Seahouses is a charming seaside town with a lively main street, easy access to pubs, and the innâs restaurant has a genuinely lovely view of the sea.
Unfortunately, the room experience was very disappointing. Our room (39) was cramped, with stuffy air and no real comfort. Instead of the second double/sofa bed described, we were given a bunk bed â not at all what we expected, and a very unpleasant surprise. To make things worse, the room was at street level, looking out directly onto an unattractive parking lot and intersection, rather than the sea view we had hoped for.
For the price and reputation, I expected much more. While the staff and location deserve praise, the accommodation itself fell far below expectations."
