Plenty of room in the 2 bedrooms and was a great living room with tv all the way upstairs. Too bad it was too windy to go out on the terrace. « Maria's place was spotless and passed the most important criteria - comfortable beds and good hot water. The location for us was great - walking distance to Croton-on-Hudson village, easy parking. The apartment worked well for our needs but to get up to it there is a flight of stairs that is relatively steep as is common in an older home. Maria was a fabulous host and answered communications quickly. »

Very comfortable unit with interesting, eclectic books and decor. Nice kitchen but bring own spices etc if plan to cook. Very convenient to Ossining sites/train. We have another trip planned to Ossining and booked this same unit! Great value - we’ve stayed in other Ossining rentals and this is the best unit and the best price. »

« This is a cozy property in a very rural setting. The host is extremely responsive and very thorough. It is quiet and private. The furniture and bed are very comfortable. The wood burning stove is a pellet stove which provides enough heat to take the edge off. The hot tub could comfortably fit 4 people. The Village of Cold Spring is less than 10 minutes away, as is the Interstate 84 bridge across the Hudson. If you want to make your own food, bring it. There is no grocery store nearby. »
