« The sit-down breakfasts were great and the server was exceptional. The attached restaurant is also very good. The staff were friendly, courteous, and outstanding. The rooms were adequate but not outstanding. We had repeated difficulties getting hot water in the rooms we rented. The staff was responsive but the repairs were not successful. »

« It’s a stunning, unique hotel. One great way to keep the wrong people from visiting? Tell them that there are no televisions in the rooms! From my perspective, that’s a big plus! And it signals that this hotel, combines luxury, history, and is aimed at the type of traveler who did not come to watch TV.. »

All the staff... every single one of them in maintenance, housekeeping, reception, bartenders, servers, culinary staff are so welcoming, amazing and so kind. « It rained the day we arrived and when we got there, the whole kitchen and living room were flooded and the rug was soaked for the whole 7 day trip so the whole house stunk of mildew the entire trip. We woke up sick every morning from breathing in the nasty air all night. I dont know if someone left the front door open allowing the rain water to come in during the storm but we would’ve enjoyed our trip better if we didn’t get sick every time we were in the house. « Bare minimum, tight wade, 1 roll of TP, 5 sheets of paper towel. Needed a good cleaning or maid to come and really get it up to par. It was like I stayed at a friend's house and they gave me thier sons room to sleep in. So weird. »

« I loved the view of the beach. Just opening the curtains and it’s right there !! I loved the pool !! House keeping did a good job while we were away. I love the location ( right by the airport !! So it made picking up and dropping off our rental such a smooth experience). The staff was really friendly and helpful. Check in and check out was a breeze ! »
