Unique and beautiful!
We loved the architecture and the artwork displayed in this house. Sofas and beds were comfy. Outdoor space was huge and had what we needed (firepit, bbq, tables and chairs). The house has nice high ceilings. Closet in the master bedroom could almost be another room, it was tremendous! In fact, the whole house was very spacious. Some people have mentioned that there's no door on the master bath. True. I ordered a cheap tension rod and blackout curtain on Instacart -- problem solved. There were a few switches and outlets that didn't seem to work, but nothing earth shattering. When we needed something (backyard lights, umbrella for outdoor table), the property manager took care of it immediately. This is a lovely place in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood. I highly recommend it, especially for those seeking something more unique than the usual cookie cutter places out there.

I would stay here again
We stayed for an entire week-8 adults and 1 child under 1. Is the house perfect…no, but neither is my house. The management team was super responsive and that made up for any concerns I had. There is a great private backyard area that we sat out in every night and we were even able to enjoy some fresh lemon in our drinks from the lemon tree in the back. The neighborhood is wonderful and we made use of the community pool, multiple parks and nice walking paths throughout our stay. The location is super convenient and close to downtown Tustin, which is a really neat area. Definitely worth the value and we would definitely stay there again.

Property not like it was advertised in VRBO
The pictures of what we were expecting was not at all what we got. The backyard was dirty. We couldn't use the patio. BBQ was dirty. No umbrella. Dog run was dirty. The bar height table in the house had no chairs. The refrigerator water dispenser leaked all over the floor. The dishwasher leaked on the floor. The shower curtain was torn.

I’m terribly sorry you had some issues. I wish you had got in touch with us as soon as you had any problems. Every point you have listed could have been rectified within a few hours. Either by bringing in my cleaning crew, or explaining where things were. Like umbrella in garage and bar stools in utility area. Great neighborhood and conveniently located
We really enjoyed the house overall, the location, and the convenient location to Disney and Newport Beach. The house is beautiful with gorgeous fruit trees in the backyard. The size was good for the size of our family, although putting in some bunk beds in one of the rooms would be ideal for larger families with children. I would have some additional recommendations for improvement. 1) Be sure that the door code that is provided is correct. I received two different codes that we tried and neither worked. We stood outside at 1a (due to a flight delay) waiting for the owner or property manager to respond. To his credit, he did respond fairly quickly by text with the correct code but it was few very tiring tense moments. 2) Please work on the water pressure and water temperature in the home. There were seven of us and we could not take showers at the same time due to the time it took for the water to warm up and the water pressure was not high enough to feel like you were clean in the shower. 3) Be sure that the bathroom and shower are cleaned adequately. There were several dark hairs in the Master Bath shower, which was not appealing. 4) Please provide more towels if there is a large family staying in the home. We had some challenges with keeping clean towels. Overall, with these small changes, I'd recommend this home.

Not what it seems
My family and I were not comfortable at this house. The floors were uneven, my kids fell a few times due to this. There is absolutely no privacy, no coverings on most of the windows in the back, the drains in the showers did not drain making showering not very desirable, the sheets and blankets were visibly dirty (thank God I brought my own blankets) overall the house was just dirty. Not a comfortable stay at all. The owner was speedy to responding and the neighborhood was very nice and quiet but the house not what we had thought we were renting.

The Good, The Bad, The Ugly.
Me and My family spent 10 days here over the 4th of July I'll start with the Good because it's the shortest! The Good: Great Neighborhood, Great Location, easy access to I5 and 55. If those are your only requirements book with confidence. The Bad: Photos are not accurate representation of the appointments: No blender, No espresso, Back yard furniture is not what is in the photos, no gas grill (weber style only). Furniture in house not what's in photo--at all! The Ugly: House is in disrepair: Wood floors are a mess, gaps everywhere, Every room has a glass door including bathroom--see thru,(weird) Hot water is wonky, gets hot, then cold then hot... kitchen utensils are the cheapest i've ever seen, knives, not sure which side was sharper... Burner issues, only two worked right.. TV, pretty much non existent, they told us to use the apple TV app.. it never worked, we gave up. Blinds in master have squares cut out of them, just weird.. No welcome book or instructions.. it's pretty much figure it out on your own. I think the worst of all was the Master bed.. It squeaks really load every time my wife or I turned over. I really could go on.. To the owner: Care a little bit.. this place could be great if you just updated and fixed things and please, give accurate information about the house!

Thanksgiving rental for our guests and family
Worked well for out of town Thanksgiving guests. I did not ask about step downs which I should of because one guest used a cane and I would have rented something without different elevations of flooring. Everyone liked the beds.

Family vacation
My family and I stayed here for our vacation to Disneyland. We were very happy with the house, and with Michael. He was always very quick to respond to questions we had. The house was the perfect size for us. My favorite part was the ensuite shower!! Lol usually in houses and hotels they have this dinky shower head with no pressure, the shower head he had in there was amazing. I have very long and thick hair and had no problem washing it! The only thing I would say that we didn't like was the knives in house were dull, so made cutting things hard.

Very nice home is a friendly neighborhood. We stayed here for two weeks and were very happy that we found this home. Nice backyard and dog friendly. Nice park directly behind the home to walk or play with your pups. Owner was quick to respond and keeps his property in good order.

family vacation
My wife and I were on an extended vacation and decided to rent this house for several days so our kids and grand kids could fly down from Wa. State and enjoy the attractions. The house is very centrally located to Disneyland, Knott's Berry farm and Newport beach. Just a little farther away is Universal Studios. The hose was nicely equipped, clean and very nice for a family get together. If the need arises again I would enjoy renting this property again. Jeff

Visited with 4 adults and 3 children ages 1 to 5. Thoroughly adequate space and great facilities to accommodate the children including high chair and "Pack and Play". Easy and close access to a playground. In quiet neighbourhood. Interesting modern décor and impeccably manicured grounds. Close to Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm and easy trip to San Diego Zoo.

Home was great for our family. Property manager met us upon arrival and showed us everything we needed to know. He was very helpful and kind. Gave us his personal cell phone number. Very clean inside and outside the home. Very nice and well kept landscaping in the yard. Our only suggestions are like the other reviews: interior doors could be upgraded for more privacy, including a door for the master bathroom, upgraded lighting and electrical for the lighting, and upgraded TVs and Apple TV would be a nice touch. Thanks for the home away from home. It was very comfortable and quiet.

Beautiful property made for a great stay!
We stayed at this home with our family and another for a week. The close proximity to Disney and the beaches are why we chose this home and it worked out great. Our kids enjoyed picking fruit that we used in our meals and drinks. Very quiet neighborhood with a park right behind the house. If we make this trip again we will look to book this house.

The home is in a great location and had plenty of room for 8 people.
It is a 20 minute drive to Disneyland And 30 minutes to Huntington Beach. The owners of the home were quick to respond when texted. There were always fresh lemons for your drinks as there is a lemon tree in the yard.

Great home in a great neighbourhood
We recently spent 6 nights at this home (5 adults and 2 teenagers), and we loved it. Plenty of space for spreading out, every amenity you could think of (including a juicer for the lemons that fall on the ground in the back yard!) The master bedroom has a fabulously large walk in closet that could serve as an extra sleeping space for a roll away bed or crib (both provided we noticed). The outdoor space is comfortable and peaceful. You will feel relaxed as soon as you enter the neighbourhood - we walked it every morning and evening, listening to birds and admiring the established yards and gardens. And as described, it is about 15-20 minutes to Disney and Newport Beach, so an ideal location. The couple of times we had to contact the owner, he got back to us immediately. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Lovely spacious home in a quiet family friendly neighborhood
A modern home with a beautiful backyard space to enjoy great Southern California weather. We had a special time here, 5 adults, 2 toddlers, and 2 babies, celebrating our twin daughters’ 30th birthday. The master bedroom is very spacious with a gigantic walk-in closet- a great make-shift bedroom for one of our babies, the futon was great for one of our toddlers. The other two rooms had extra beds- twin and space for a pack-n-play for a toddler and the other baby. The kitchen supplies were adequate for making our own meals several times/day. The location is great, close to many popular sites. The owner, Michael was very responsive to my emails and texts. We will definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay.the house seems not to well taken care of.It needs some tlc,patio furniture is old most cups are chipped and mixed up.heat didn’t work we mentioned it and no one came,wasn’t super interested In Buying a bunch of firewood ,most places heat is included.The washer dryer are old and needed to prop the door closed to have it work.Pillows were like sleeping on pancakes.There were no extra bedding towels or dishcloths.Just basic problems that would be easy to rectify.There was six of us and loads of room.In some ways it was nice to not feel like we had to be super careful in a fancy new home.We would never say don’t stay because overall it was fine,but nxt time will try somewhere different.The niehborhood and local parks where amazing.The pool area is great..we didn’t swim but just because of the weather,it was a bit cold for Cali even for us Canadians.Try it out!

Needs attention
The property was clean, however, we probably would choose a different property next time. These are the specific areas I recommend that the owner address. 1. When we went to lock the front door at night, we discovered that it required a key for the dead bolt. This means that in the event of a fire, we would have to find the key to get out. We ended up leaving the key in the door at night. 2. Light switches everywhere.... but they don't do anything. Wiring is an issue. There is a switch with several buttons on it in the dining room, but we couldn't get it to work. It was dark in the house so there was no way to see the tiny switch at the bottom of the switch that controls all the other buttons. I would recommend that you replace it our put instructions in your welcome packet. 3. The bathroom door for the main bath is see through. That's just weird. We covered it with a blanket from the inside. 4. There are 3 tables in the area next to the kitchen. One 4 seat pub tab me and chairs, 2 large frosted glass tables without chairs and then a desk. 5. In the pics from when we rented, there was a large bar by the garage door to the back yard... however, there was not a bar when we arrived. It was now another table. 6. You would find better housewares at goodwill then at this property. I'm trying to be polite, but they were old, cheap and some with rust. 7. Don't try pushing the buttons on the dishwasher to run it..... you have to find the light switch 10 feet away, flip it and then press start on the dishwasher. 8. The flooring is buckling everywhere. My daughter actually cut her toe because of the condition in the master bedroom. 9. The only tv that worked was in the master bedroom. There was a tv in the 2nd bedroom but no service, a tv in the front room but no remote would operate it (There were 3 to try) 10. The outdoor furniture is in horrible condition. To Michael (owner): Visit the property and just look at these areas and I think you'll agree. I'm not angry or bitter. The transaction went fine. We really enjoyed our vacation. We spent time at the pool which was a blast, went to Disney and the beaches. It was ab easy drive to both. The water pressure in the house is amazing. Not really worth what they are asking.

Sean, Thank you for your review and candid comments. I’m glad you enjoyed your trip, although I’m sorry you had some issues with the place. In answer to your points: 1. The deadbolt can be operated without a key. It just needs to be set to manually lock from inside. 2. The wiring throughout is actually new (2010) but I accept your point that the master switch for the panel needs to be explained in the instructions. Is now included. 3. The opec, frosted glass panels let light in and give a design feature. I apologize you felt it wasn’t private enough. This is the first comment on this in over 300 reviews so I assume it’s personal preference. 4. The desk and two tables serve as a work space / area for corporate clients. 5. New table and chairs were put in as the previous set took too much space. 6. The cutlery and cookware has been replaced / added to along with some outdoor furniture. Thank you for highlighting this 7. 8. I’m shocked that you felt the flooring is in bad repair, It’s natural Bamboo and Maple throughout and I’ve been to check the bedroom. The only sharpish part I could find was the join strip between the bedroom and bathroom tiles. However I’m terribly sorry your daughter hurt herself. 9. The TV in the living room works just fine with the Apple TV, DVD. I wish you’d contacted me regarding this as it could have been resolved immediately. I have taken your comments on board and rectified the issues which needed attention, explanation, and renewed items. I hope future guests will benefit from the improvements.

Relaxing Tustin home with community pool
Our family stayed at this home for 2 weeks and had a great time. Centrally located in OC, near freeways. Loved the community pool, we all really enjoyed. No Jacuzzi/hot tub. Spacious home with a large back yard, lots of room for the kids to play. Home backs to park. There was a movie night in the park one evening, nice event for the kids. Home at the end of a cul de sac, we would recommend this home for other vacation/ holiday renters. Thank you!

Great place to stay. Quiet neighborhood and located close to everything you may want to do.
My family and I visited California for the first time to go to Disney Land. We rented this location because it was close to Disney Land, restaurants, and shopping. The house was clean, stocked with plenty linens, pots and pans for cooking, and queen size beds. There was a small problem with blocked drains, but Michael had everything taken care of by the time we got back from Disney Land. Problems do happen, but having a homeowner that is available to handle problems is the most important thing, at least for me. If available, I plan on renting this house the next time I'm visiting this area. Thanks Michael, Ed

Perfect for a family!

Great house and even better location!
The house is great. The house was not ready when we checked in, but the house cleaners arrived to clean about 2 minutes after we did. It was not an issue (It had been Easter Sunday the day before and had many other houses to clean), we just left our things and headed out to buy groceries. They were gone when we returned. I traveled with my best friend, and two younger brothers (10 & 13 yrs old). The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, cutting boards, plates, cups, etc. as well as with cooking oil, spices and more. The bathrooms are great, but things like shampoo and conditioner are not provided so make sure to bring your own. The house has a lot of windows which provide a lot of natural light, which I love. We didn't use the grill or fire pit, but be sure to buy charcoal if you'd like to use the grill or wood for the pit. The wifi is pretty fast and cable is not provided but they do provide a couple of AppleTV's if you want to catch up on your tv shows or movies. For the kids, directly behind the house there is a big park with basketball courts and play structures for the kids as well as a place for exercising and walking your dog around the park. The VERY BIG pool is within walking distance as well. In regards to the neighborhood, it is extremely quiet and neighbors are friendly. Location is ideal because it is close to John Wayne Airport, the 5, the 55, and a lot of places to eat.

Perfect Home away from home in awesome location
We stayed here for a week over spring break with our daughters and granddaughter. Quiet neighborhood with a pool on the east side and another on the west side of the neighborhood. A park literally behind the back yard fence. There were a few details that needed taken care of and Michael responded to my texts immediately and attempted to fix the problem in a timely manner. The pics on HomeAway are accurate, and the home was lovely and well-equipped. Would stay here again!

Good home in a good neighborhood.
This home is a dated home with DIY updates. It was nice to have a stocked kitchen with pots and pans and the fire pit was very enjoyable in the evenings. The beds were comfortable however I recommend bringing your own pillows. We did not get to use the pools as there was no access card and we had to take the large trash can out to the street as it was overflowing with previous renters trash. This is not the best managed rental I have stayed at but it was good for the size of our party in the Disney area. I would not recommend this home to people with small children. There is a step up at the entry of the house and the step continues only inside the door where you have to step down. This was ok except my mother was not able to use the front door and we had to use the garage to get her in and out with her walker. The garage door remote that was supposed to be available was not so this was a little more work on our part every time we departed or returned to the house.

This is a wonderful house, beautifully appointed with great design and aesthetic. The service has been exemplary and the many little touches for the convenience of the guests were well thought out and helpful. Large comfortable beds in each of three bedrooms, a fold out couch in the living room and a plush folding roll a bed. 3 TVs and a lot of entertainment options. Washer, dryer, 2 car garage, large furnished patio, enclosed dog run. A true vacation home with all the amenities.

Speaking of Quality…
We’ve all heard the term “curb appeal”. In this property, the curb appeal is just the icing on the cake. Approaching the property, which sits at the end of a very quiet cul-de-sac, one is first presented with a well-designed fire pit/sitting area enhanced by subtle exterior lighting and locale-specific landscaping. On entry, the property speaks “quality”. From the upscale kitchen range and plumbing fixtures, to the window blinds and unique furniture and wall decorations, all the way to the purposefully mismatched individual drawer pulls on the central table in the dining area, this property reflects a great deal of architectural and interior design planning, prior to a successful execution. The rear patio offers yet another fire pit and multiple seating areas affording visitors a comfortable area to unwind after each day’s adventures. Michael, the owner, was quickly available and able to answer any and all questions re our stay. I fully recommend this property for those seeking a safe, quiet and off-the-beach, location in Orange County.
