In winter, Lookout Mountain Retreat offers cozy comfort, unbeatable views and 15 mins to Northstar—but with snow comes adventure! A 4WD vehicle and chains may be required during storms. Power outages are rare but possible during weather events.

You’ll have full and exclusive access to the townhome during your stay—relax, unwind, and make yourself at home.

* Guests do not have access to Schaffer’s Mill community amenities.
* No smoking anywhere on the property.
* No open flames—Tahoe’s forests are highly fire-prone.
* No parties, events, or commercial shoots.
* Shoes off inside, please.
* Three floors—stairs are involved!
* BBQ and patio furniture available May–October (weather permitting).
* Max 3 vehicles: 1 in garage, 2 in driveway.

Things to Keep in Mind
Tahoe’s beauty comes with unpredictability—wildfires, storms, and the occasional Wi-Fi hiccup are beyond our control. Refunds for such issues are considered on a case-by-case basis.
Our cancellation policy is firm—no refunds for weather, road conditions, or air quality. We recommend purchasing travel insurance for peace of mind.
