The staff at the property were wonderful and very friendly. Helped with our bags, served my dog his own sausage for breakfast. Great stay!

I would like to apologise for you not being satisfied with you stay. With you being anonymous unfortunately I am unable to identify the particular stay but I just wish that you had brought it to my attention whilst you were here where you could have been moved to an alternative room with a bath as opposed to a shower. With regards to the wifi, the code is on the back of the key and also on the bar With regards to not being able to have an invoice, i find this strange as I am around throughout the morning cooking breakfast. Again all i can do now is apologise and will try to ensure that a similar occurrence doesn't happen again Regards Nic

Great value stay
Nice sized room partway through renovations to modernise, but still lovely and clean. Very friendly and attentive staff, with a freshly cooked to order breakfast. Very reasonable cost for the night's stay. Thankyou!

The hotel itself could do with a bit of an update, but our room was clean and the staff were lovely. Breakfast was nice and my partner said it was the best scrambled egg he had tasted for a long while. We went for a party and the location was just right.

Staff were very homely and friendly,yes there was a problem with no hot water but went to see the manager and it was sorted before I got back to my room. Breakfast superb best I have had in a long time. Yes the bar is a little tiered but if you want 5* go and pay 5* prices I would have no problem staying at the Dunraven Hotel in the future.

The room was clean The hot water supply is unreliable in fact did not get hot water in bathroom for 2 days had to boil the kettle for hot water to have a wash very disapointing Would not stay at that pub again

One Satisfied customer
What a surprise, good welcome , shown to rooms through a fresh, nicely painted corridor and into my corridor which housed bookshelves and reading lamp and comfy chair.Room 9 very comfy,clean and quiet. On par with any where I have stayed. Thoroughly recommended.

Toilet didn't work in the room, Broadband didn't extend to room, People Friendly but the Hotel needs big upgrade to cater for todays market.

I would like to apologise that you weren't completely satisfied with your stay at the Dunraven, I just wish that you had brought your concerns to our attention whilst you were here as they seem to have been easily rectifiable issues, WIFI had been a problem here, but extenders were installed to cover all of the building, however the router had changed password so I think that could have been the problem and with regards to the toilet, the only issue I have come across is that the flush hasn't aligned, which with a small touch of the cistern this is working Again all I can do is apologise, as you have chosen to be anonymous however if you would like to contact me direct I can arrange for a refund to be issued Regards

Friendly folk in Treherbert
We traveled to Treherbert to find family. In the process we met friendly and helpful town folk who assisted Nick with running the Dunraven hotel. Treherbert is a financially depressed area with a big heart. Be sure to visit the whiskey distillery located over the 15 minute mountain ride and grab a welsh cookie for the road.

Great little hotel in the Rhondda
Great little hotel comprised of a traditional pub with clean, modern rooms. Plenty of hot water and generous supplies of tea, coffee, toiletries and bottled local water. Everything worked well except for the wifi, but that could be me. No dedicated parking but it was easy to find a space either directly outside on the road or in the shared car park opposite. The local eateries are - well - pretty much non-existent, so it's a good job that the affable owner, Nic, can rustle you up pretty much whatever you want (within reason!) If business brings me back to this part of the world, I'd definitely stay here again.

Lovely traditional Welsh pub/hotel
Great location for the Brecon Beacons. The hotel/pub is not modern but a typical Welsh valley establishment and excellent value. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. Good to have tea and coffee making facilities too. Didn't have an evening meal but if the breakfast is anything to go by they would be good. Breakfast is cooked to order and really good. The service was friendly and accommodating. Would return there.
