Hotel was wonderful. Heated outdoor pool was a favourite. Doing construction on main roads but hotel can't help that and it really wasn't much of a concern. Can easily walk downtown.

Very modern, clean, and the staff did appear to pay attention to detail, which isn’t something you often plan to rate for lodging, but I did want to throw that in. Check-in process was very quick, and Champagne was offered during this time. We felt welcomed as soon as we walked through the entrance. The heated outdoor pool was a huge hit for my daughter. Especially since there are very few places you can swim outside at during the winter in Northern Michigan. Our room was clean, and our view was ok. (We didn’t request/expect any exquisite view, as we were in town for a basketball tournament and just wanted a clean, safe area to spend our free time at). The location is on the water, dining options are available on site, and you are near many other restaurants/ attractions. I do plan on staying at Delamar again during our future tournaments in that area.

Hotel Delamar is our favorite hotel in Traverse City. It is in a great location and walking distance to everything downtown. It is right on the water with beautiful views. What makes us hotel special is the exceptional staff and the VIP treatment for all guests. With all of the amenities and the top-notch customer service, Delamar is more like a resort versus just a hotel.

The staff here was fantastic, very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is very nice, feels high-end, the rooms are really comfortable and clean, everything is modern and updated really well. Great location too!

We loved our stay at Delamar, one of the top 5 resorts we have every stayed at! The property is so beautiful and spotlessly clean. The amenities were top notch! The pools and sauna were amazing and the workout room one of the best I have ever used! Our room was wonderful with a beautiful view, spacious, and so clean and comfortable. The staff was professional, kind, and always went above and beyond. The restaurant and lounge area was amazing and the complimentary breakfast was the best we have ever had! We truly felt spoiled here and didn't want to leave! At Delamar we felt like every attention to detail was addressed from the staff, cleanliness, amenities, location(views),and artwork/decor. This resort truly provides everything for any age, personality, etc. The kids had the pool, game area(lounge), and outdoor games while the adults could also indulge in a romantic restaurant, comfort, and live music. We would most definetly stay here again!!!

Our stay was excellent- once the construction is finished in and around the property it will be five stars. Sofia checked us in and she was delightful. Dinner at Artisan was incredible. A wonderful quick get away!

This is one of the best hotels we've stayed in the area. The outdoor heated pool was amazing. They had live music every night and a great bar setup. The shuttle can take you anywhere downtown and the driver was awesome. All of the staff were great too. It would be an amazing place to stay in the summer and we will be back.

Loved everything about this hotel, the free champagne at check in, hot chocolate bar, s’mores kits, friendly staff. The only suggestion I have is to have a gf option for the breakfast. They had grab and go breakfast sandwiches but wish they would’ve had egg, cheese, sausage no bread.

The shuttle service was a life saver considering there was construction in front of the hotel. I was genuinely shocked at how expensive the hotel room was considering the construction that was being done to the hotel and outside the hotel. Our hotel upgrade was a handicap room, so not an upgrade - was not pleased about that.

Upon getting to our room, noticed a funny smell that didn’t go away. Staff were very accommodating and moved us to a different room and offered hote credit and drink vouchers. Very friendly and understanding. The outdoor pool was wonderful, the kids loved it. Good breakfast (free) and the restaurant and service was also excellent.

The grounds and rooms were wonderful. We didn’t get to use the outdoor pool because it was so crowded. It got very loud with guests running around, slamming doors, and making a ruckus late into the night. It was a fun hotel but it seems more geared towards families with rowdy kids and the party crowd. Not the best place for adults looking for a quiet and relaxing get away.
