Overall, the property checked all of our boxes. Location, space for number of guests, amenities, etc. Kitchen was fully stocked.Plowing of the driveway was key with a snow/ice storm in the middle of our stay.Internet speed was also fast as well for a full house of connected teens. There are not quite enough full bathrooms/showers for the number of possible guests especially in the upstairs space. The main tv/apps were glitchy. That needs to be looked at and updated. The firestick in the main floor bedroom was not setup correctly.
This place was just about perfect with excellent hosts that were easy to communicate to. My only ask would be to get shades to block the sun in the morning in the bedroom to the left of the upstairs bathroom. We did not use that bedroom because of this reason. That being said, we loved this place so much that we already booked again for next year.
What an amazing home for an extended family getaway! Our three families, 6 adults and 7 children, were blown away by how wonderful Tabitha and Jordanâs home was and how much it really felt like a home away from home. Every amenity and necessity you could possibly need was readily available, from a very well stocked kitchen to a large assortment of games and outdoor fun equipment. The home is beautiful, well decorated, and spacious with a great balance of gathering spaces and quiet solo spots to get away from the chaos when needed. The property is vast, gorgeous, and so tranquil- fully surrounded by the mountains. We were blessed with a big snowfall the night we arrived and the kids spent the entire day playing and sledding right outside the front door. We are already planning our next trip back!
We loved this property with stunning foliage, hiking trails, and perfect views. The house had everything we needed to accommodate a large group and more with lots of thoughtful touches. Plenty of space, panoramic views, screened in porch, fireplace, pool table, and connected speakers throughout. We have stayed at many different rentals for our annual trip over the years and this one is our new favorite.
The House, Lands and View of this place are all amazing. Great for big family gathering to escape and rejoice and relax. We came to explore a bit of Vermont, which we did, but we also found ourselves reluctant to go out as the house and property were so captivating all on their own!
The house was just as described, we could walk from the property to the trail that was only a few hundred feet from one of the streams that feeds West River. The pool was a big hit! Not heated but the solar cover kept the water nice, and the grill down by the pool was great for having lunch. 3 generations truly enjoyed our stay and we were able to see some amazing wildlife. Lots of places to hike and enjoy the River and falls. Jelly mill falls was one of our favorites. Jordan was extremely receptive and accommodating, it was truly an amazing holidayâ„ïž
The property was easy to reach, and delightful to occupy. Amenities abound, and our five kids had no trouble occupying their time. Walking the property, we explored the length of the creek, discovering an old bridge and lots of animal trails. Fishing at Townsend park is picturesque, thrifting at second chance a treat! Easy access to groceries, coffee and fabulous scones.
The kitchen is so well equipped that we decided to cook every night, even making a rhubarb pie from the garden. Cocktails on the second floor porch were picture-perfect. And sâmores over the fire pit made the evening for kids
If youâve never tried axe-throwing - hereâs your chance. Two adults bulls-eyed after a dozen tries.
The whole thing works though, because our host, Jordan was abundantly available . Iâve come to appreciate that the more I rent for the family- especially in remote locations. We felt entirely cared for.
This is a place to relax, make memories, be healthy, and reflect in utter natural beauty.
This was our third year staying here and we all love it. It's perfect for our family, we have looked forward to our stay every year. The house has everything you need, the grounds are beautiful and the pool area is so nice to hang out and relax on those hot summer days. Look forward to next year.
We booked our stay at the very last minute, and we couldn't have been happier with our choice! Every member of our family, spanning ages 19 to 81, had an enchanting time. Despite a few rain showers, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves with billiards, darts, and Foosball, organizing a spirited family tournament. We made use of every amenity the house offered, ensuring there was never a dull moment.
When the weather allowed, we found ourselves in the sparkling pool and found great comfort in the shaded seating of the pool gazebo. Even on rainy days, the well-appointed living room provided a cozy spot to watch the clouds and mist weather roll through the Green Mountains. The serene beauty outside our windows made staying indoors a pleasure.
In essence, we never felt the need to leave the property. Both Millennials and Baby Boomers alike were thoroughly pleased with our stay. Thank you once again for such a wonderful experience. We look forward to returning next year!

Everything was as expected. This property lived up to the dream! My family had a wonderfull time! My only complaint is caretakers could care a bit more for this house. No trash pick up between guests? Full bags of mulch never used (although not needed).Enjoyed the wildlife beautiful birds and we even saw a young bear snacking on the blueberries. The pool was sparkling clean.many thanks to the owners of this paradise.
The property was exquisite. The pictures donât do it justice. Everything you need is there and more. The kids loved the game room and everyone enjoyed the pool and fires at night.
My now wife and I found this property back in November. We reached out to Jordan and Tabitha, who were very accommodating and let us take several tours of the house and property before our big day. When our wedding day finally came, they were very accommodating and lenient with us and our vendors. Several vendors could not pick up their equipment until a day after we left and Jordan and Tabitha had no issues with that. They definitely went above and beyond and made our wedding even more special. So many guests at our wedding commented on how beautiful and serene this property is, and we could not agree more. It truly felt like we were in our own world there.
As we arrived we were awe struck by the property and the lush shades of green. Spring in Vermont is glorious!
We were there for a graduation ceremony and the gamily and our dinner guests were all very comfortable and happy.
The kitchen had all we needed to prepare a meal for a large group. The living and seating areas were plentiful so we could have different age groups having conversations.
It was a bit early for the pool for me, but some of the family jumped in as the sun came out.
The beds and pillow were super comfortable. Everyone slept great.
If we have the opportunity to go back to the area we would definitely stay again. If you are lucky enough to stay at this house you will not be disappointed.
Thank you for opening your lovely home.

We took our family away- ages teen to infant- and everyone had a great time. The property is gorgeous and private. Kids went sledding and played in snow, toys for the little ones and bonus was great selection of books for the adults. Owners were very responsive.
A beautiful and spacious home with all the amenities, located on a gorgeous property. Great for a weekend ski trip with 3 families-easy 30 minute drive to Mount Snow. Comfortable with plenty of space and a well stocked kitchen. Great host communication. The kids loved the basement. Would definitely recommend.
This is a great property for vacation. We had 6 adults and 4 kids and the house accommodated everyone easily. The house is well stocked with kitchen supplies (pots pans etc), there are tons of games, and space for everyone. The basement games are perfect if the weather isnât great and the pool/yard is great when it is. The area is secluded and exactly what we were looking for. The owner was also very quick to respond to questions.
This was our 2nd time staying here so we know just how wonderful the house and grounds are, we absolutely love it. Excellent communication with Jordan and Tabitha. We are so looking forward to next year!
We booked this vacation not knowing we would be caught up in the heaviest rain Vermont would see in the past 20-30 years. With that being said, we chose the absolute perfect house for our stay. Jordan and Tabithaâs 30 acres of mountain paradise were better than advertised. Our 3 boys ranging in age from 5-13 had so much fun playing darts, pool, foosball and swimming, that the couple of day trips cancelled due to road closures, became an afterthought.
Everything you could possibly need in a vacation is available at the house, which really made our stay stress free, and really relaxing. We will definitely visit again and look forward to that next adventure.
The house was clean, spacious, and had everything we could need. The hosts were also great and super accommodating as well! We'd love to stay again if they'd allow us!
Quiet location with lots of space and activities around the house. The house had lots of meeting areas that let us work in different groups, and allowed staff to bring families. Everything from computer screens to toys, books and a pool. The hosts are great. We would all come here again - for work or vacation.
