Not what we'd hoped
We were on a motorcycle trip and had chosen this hotel because of its swimming pool, and what a disappointment it was when we arrived to find that it wasn't open. And it clearly hasn't been open for more than a season... Apparently this is mentioned on their website, but as we booked via another platform, we didn't know. The hotel staff are very courteous and the room is large and renovated. There's an excellent restaurant just across the street and we suggest you make a reservation to avoid having to wait. When we opened the bed to go to sleep, we had the suspicion that the sheets had not been changed and this was annoying. Breakfast was very good and with plenty of choice.

Parfait, juste à l’entrée du parc
Enregistrement facile, emplacement extra à l’entrée du parc des Great Smoky Mountains. Propre. Parking devant la chambre. Très bon petit déjeuner, complet. Le très grand lit était extrêmement confortable.

It is convenient to just about everything in Townsend. Very nice staff. Great breakfast! The room could have been cleaner. The floors were dirty but everything else was clean. One thing I missed was having a USB port in the room.

The employee who greeted us was nice. The room was not well equipped. Most of the lights in the room did not work. The room between our room and the room next to us had the door left unlocked. There were bugs in the bathroom. This was a spur of the moment trip plan, and this hotel was the only place we could find with a vacancy.

No one in lobby when I arrived - waited more 8 minutes for staff to show - was not in area. When checking in staff asked for address - several times! Could not get spelling correct. Then he asked for drivers license! If he had done that first he would have had the address correctly! He also had a poor attitude like he was too busy to be bothered with my needing to check in.

We stay at this hotel often because of the convenience to where we ride motorcycles but it is always an ordeal getting checked in and being charged correctly.

A fairly modern hotel in appearance, had strange wooden floors rather than carpet. The beds were too high, seems a regular BW trait and were difficult to get into, we are average height and found them a challenge. A case for aesthetics rather than ergonomics.

The temperature in his room was very high, but they said there was nothing they could do because the boss was not at home. There are no customers in other rooms, and it is still said that there are no free rooms to replace. They rejected your request very calmly. There is no better word to evaluate them. Very bad experience

Property is a bit far and secluded from town. Limited dinning options. Rooms are species and clean. Hotels is Motel Type open walk-in settings. Overall not bad, just the location is bit inconvenience.

We arrived at the hotel early for an event, and asked about an early check in. We were told that our room was available, but it would cost an additional $50 for early check in. I’ve traveled the world and stayed at MANY hotel chains. This is the first time I’ve encountered a “not premium” hotel that charges for early check in of 2-3 hours.

It was quiet, clean, and provided quick and easy access to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. We needed a place to stay for a night so we could wake up and go straight to the mountains. This allowed us to do just that quite comfortably.

You need to stay here!
I highly recommend this motel if you are staying in the Townsend area. It is very clean and quiet. It is conveniently located on the greenway trail. You can actually walk to the grocery store and restaurants. Very nice motel with friendly staff!!!

First of all, we love the hotel we stayed there before but on the night we checked in your front desk lady was very rude. She did not need to be on the front desk for sure. I’ve been in retail 28 years and she couldn’t work for me other than that quite a pleasant stay.

Perfect stay
We stayed one night after the Gatlinburg parade. The room was very large. It was clean and comfortable. Check in was easy. We went back into Gatlinburg for breakfast and shopping in the morning. It was perfect for the money.

Room was clean enough for a one night stay. Half the channels on TV didn’t work and the woman working at front desk didn’t seem to care, as she had no answer or concern to help resolve the issue. Never felt welcomed here. Will likely not stay here again.

Never staying here again. BUGS!!!!!!
Unfriendly front desk clerk. There were roaches or bed bugs in my room, they were little and I squished them before determining what they are but everything will be washed before going in my house. Being a pet-friendly hotel, I brought along my 2 small dogs not knowing there was a page of rules, which I had no issue with BUT the front desk clerk decided to add one not on the list. She added that the dogs were not allowed on the bed because of allergies of other guests. I don’t have an issue with my dogs not being on the bed. However, do they not wash the linens between guests??? I was grossed out and disgusted by this so I used a blanket from my car to cover the bed before sleeping on top of it. The A/C never cooled the room to which the morning clerk said that there were guests in there the night before and they had not mentioned it. I wasn’t complaining, just making a note so they could fix it. The bugs…that issue was a complaint. If I had not been traveling since midnight the night before, I would have declined the stay but they probably would have wanted to keep my money anyway. On a positive note, the waffle for breakfast was delicious.

Comfortable Stay
I found the staff extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the area quiet. It's a short travel to the Park's entrance, a grocery store and gas stations.
