« The property was almost exactly as described. The cabin has character and makes you feel at home with the decorations. We had our young grandkids (2 and 4) staying with us. There was plenty of room for them to play, and they loved the bunk beds! When they say the drive is rough, believe it. If you have a car with little ground clearance (Chevy Malibu), you really have to weave around to keep from scraping. Our kids had a mini van and an SUV and they had no problems. The hosts were very attentive...

« All were excited to stay up in the mountains and be together for a few days. The hot tub was the biggest hit as for two days it rained quite a bit this was something they could still do along with the ping pong table and foose ball. All in all it was a more relaxed stay which made it nice for my hubbie. Thanks to Michelle for her explanation of the amenities that weren’t there and why also. It’s a nice retreat place to stay also! »

« Secluded, quiet idyllic area, ample space for sleeping/bedrooms available, we were 10 people, clean, game room, small-ish kitchen but fully functional, bathrooms great, hot tub great, pool closed, I loved that there is a playground for kids but we were all adults, restaurants and groceries within 10-15 minute drive, we stayed for a Spartan race at Mt. Vernon only 12 minutes away, would definitely request a stay again! »
