« As long as you are physically able to manage the steps (that the owner includes in the listing) this is an absolutely wonderful couple retreat place. The hosts were very friendly [including their 2 dogs :-)] and helpful, the view across the lake is gorgeous, everything was clean and neat and included all that we needed (or asked for in one case), was great to have the kayaks available to go out on the lake. « We had a great time at Lake Seneca and the house worked very well for 2 families.The cons: AC not available in one room and too noisy in another upstairs. Ladder on the pier broken and not usable. Too expensive in the current state but a little work and it will be a great place to stay (again). »

« Great communication. Spectacular location right on the water. Quiet. Safe. Cozy. Fire pit is a bonus, everything provided to build a fire. Crackling fire along with waves lapping. A wonderful dock. Water fowl landings and take offs. Beautifully White Birch tree. Sunrises. The house is equipped and comfortable. So very comfortable. All electric switches are labeled. Plenty of ice in the freezer. Ceiling fans. Will be looking forward to our next stay here. Lauren and Jeff are terrific hosts. »

« 5 stars are not enough! This cottage is fantastic, and Nancy is a pleasure to work with. The mud room as you walk in is exactly what's needed (big enough, no wasted space). The main area is open, with a counter/cabinet island separating the kitchen from the LR. Decor is contemporary and well maintained. All the appliances, cookware and servingware you need. « Beautiful location in the forest right next to the lake. It’s a very warm and cozy feeling. Just walk out the back door and you are within several feet of the shoreline. The only concern is to be aware of the stairs waI would recommend for anyone who wants to be on the lake and in a forest setting. Just walk down the steps from the parking area and into another world. The shoreline is literally steps from the back door. »

« Amber was an excellent host, the property was clean and comfortable, we initially had an issue with the heating system due to the excessively cold weather, but this was swiftly resolved and we were soon warm and cosy!The cottage has a lovely view over Owasco lake, nice furnishings, comfortable beds and all the facilities needed for a pleasant stay. Amber had even kindly left us a delicious bottle of local wine.We would definitely recommend! »

« The one bedroom cottage was a comfortable stay for us. The size was good for us and it was very clean. Just about everything needed was available. The location was very convenient for the places we wanted to visit. It was surprising private considering it was really located in a neighborhood. "As soon as we arrived, the clerk told us how to get to our room, but it wasn't clear. The manager took care of us to show us our room. His purpose was to sell us the dinning facility, and he was a little too pushy for me! The driveway to the check in had a big hole which was easy to fix temporarily with a bag of gravel rock! The front door of our room was filled with sticky leaves from last fall. The environment around the Hotel is splendid. "
