« As long as you are physically able to manage the steps (that the owner includes in the listing) this is an absolutely wonderful couple retreat place. The hosts were very friendly [including their 2 dogs :-)] and helpful, the view across the lake is gorgeous, everything was clean and neat and included all that we needed (or asked for in one case), was great to have the kayaks available to go out on the lake. « Great communication. Spectacular location right on the water. Quiet. Safe. Cozy. Fire pit is a bonus, everything provided to build a fire. Crackling fire along with waves lapping. A wonderful dock. Water fowl landings and take offs. Beautifully White Birch tree. Sunrises. The house is equipped and comfortable. So very comfortable. All electric switches are labeled. Plenty of ice in the freezer. Ceiling fans. Will be looking forward to our next stay here. Lauren and Jeff are terrific hosts. »

« Amber was an excellent host, the property was clean and comfortable, we initially had an issue with the heating system due to the excessively cold weather, but this was swiftly resolved and we were soon warm and cosy!The cottage has a lovely view over Owasco lake, nice furnishings, comfortable beds and all the facilities needed for a pleasant stay. Amber had even kindly left us a delicious bottle of local wine.We would definitely recommend! »

« The one bedroom cottage was a comfortable stay for us. The size was good for us and it was very clean. Just about everything needed was available. The location was very convenient for the places we wanted to visit. It was surprising private considering it was really located in a neighborhood. We stayed in the fall so we didn't take advantage of the waterfront for swimming/boating. The small porch was nice. Communication was great, it was easy to get into the cottage.
