Also used to train our young Labrador Retriever (the reason we were in the area). « Peaceful and so cozy. Weather wasn't cooperating but being in the warm, toasty, cabin in a rainy day was blissful! Mark, the host, is such a wonderful, caring and pleasant host. I love to cook and the amenities were perfect! Definitely stay here even if you stay out of season. »

« Perfect place for my husband, adult son (22) and I to enjoy the outdoors. The house faces the lake and although small, it is well laid out and did not feel cramped. Loved that the house came with a fire pit, use of canoe (didn't use) and kayak. Communication with the host was excellent and the place was very clean and organized. We knew before we booked that we would have to drive far for restaurants and groceries, and since we were mid week, many restaurants were closed so we came equipped and...

« My mother-in-law has a bucket list of staying insome unique places so we booked this for her birthday. The caboose is very cool! The caboose is very clean. The kitchen had plenty of cooking supplies if needed and a nice size refrigerator. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels. We would highly recommend staying here, especially if you know someone that loves trains or likes staying in one of a kind places. »

« This is easily one of the most unique and cool places I’ve ever had the pleasure of seeing and experiencing. It’s so serene, so green, and so peaceful. You can tell there was a lot of love and care put into this property! There is so much to offer, and the owners made is that much better. Very kind and respectful, willing to tend to any needs, and did everything they could to make this experience that much more memorable. I will be back! Thank you guys so much »

« We were in the area for a family wedding and this rental worked perfectly. It really was a home away from home, full kitchen, laundry area. The 2nd floor had a seperate living area, full bath and sleeping area for my son’s family with 2 small children. Had I stayed longer I may have enjoyed the outdoor hot tub. »

« The cottage was definitely older but was clean. The bathroom looked like it been redone recently and the kitchen had everything you would need to prepare your meals. The view from the cottage is much better than the impression you get from the online photos. The best part about the property is the location. The Griffis Road Marina is in a very secluded cove and is very calm. We had our Seadoo docked there for 6 days and rode over 200 miles during our stay. The Lake is Beautiful with many small...
