Town of Richfield : Cabanes

« We had a fantastic stay at Eagles Nest! Melissa and Tom were wonderful hosts, and everything was exactly as described. The fishing was excellent, but the highlight of our trip was having the paddle boats available—they made spending time on the water so much fun. The home was comfortable, relaxing, and a perfect place to unwind. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway! »

« What an amazing property!!! Every detail was thought of when remodeling this caboose. It is absolutely stunning. And, it’s as comfortable as it is beautiful. Everywhere you look, you see another tiny piece that is spot-on withe the caboose’s decor. You have to see this beauty!!! »

« The property is clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. We had everything we needed, and the hosts were great at communication and hospitality. We would recommend this to anyone considering a quiet and relaxed getaway. »

« The main problem was this listing showed a very nice game room which is not part of the property but it showed on the site until after we had arrived. That is the only reason we booked this property. The host then corrected the error in the site but the game room was definitely showing as one of the rooms in this cabin. So we did not get what we believed were paying for. There were too many steps for us but also the steps and the railings were not good. Not enough seating for four adults -...

« Our hosts were very kind, attentive and responded quickly, with efficiency. The rustic cabin and property is perfect for a quiet little hide-away, decompression & get in touch with nature. The drive to our Grandson's Cooperstown Tournament was an easy 25 minutes through beautiful, hilly Central New York State rural countryside. The character of the home gets better with each day as you learn to slow down again. Believe in the "Rustic". Finding the driveway is a great introduction into...

« Staff was very friendly and help with everything. The cabin was very clean and such. Only complaint is I left a day early and the deposit still going to take forever to return. I know I didn't cause any damage for my deposit to be held on. »

« We very much enjoyed our stay. The cabin was comfortable and in a great location. Glen was very helpful and kept us updated on any happenings regarding the property. »

« Beautiful property! Very remote and serene. Relaxing porches all the way around. Well stocked with amenities. Would highly recommend staying here for a family get away. Half hour drive to Cooperstown. Perfect for our week of baseball and the Hall of Fame! »

« We had a lovely time at the cabin! Everything was exactly as advertised. The communication was quick and check-in was simple. The cabin is clean and had all the amenities we needed. The property was very nice and quiet. We were lucky to have excellent weather during our stay and even got to say hello to the host on the morning of our checkout. We would definitely recommend and hopefully we get to come back one day! »

« Lovely little cabin near our property--2 miles from site of a Maples descendant family reunion on Maples Rd. »
