« This is a lovely rustic one-room cabin in a beautiful location. It is off-grid, with the solar lights and wi-fi working well, and Onalee was such a lovely host - responsive, good communicator, and she followed through in every way. My arrival was delayed until after dark, and she responded by leaving a lantern on the front porch to make sure I could find the lights inside easily. Shower in the outhouse was nice and hot, the towels were laundered and replaced daily, and there is great diner 3...

« Thousands of mouse dropping by entrance. Have to step in to enter. Cabin smelled like mouse urine throughout. Large ants everywhere. Multiple screws loose and missing from stair case in cabin. Very unsafe. We left after one night short of our reservation. We only stayed 10 hours in the place and only because we were exhausted from traveling. Host refused to refund as he said I signed up for a “ cabin experience “. What a joke !!!! »

« The cabin itself was beautiful, but while driving there you lose GPS for the last 10 minutes. It is very hard to find. You actually have to drive into a grassy field to a gate. The ramp to get into the house does not have a railing and is very slippery in the rain. I fell going down the ramp in the dark while grabbing something out of my car. The solar lights outside do not stay on very long so it is very hard to see anything. I also messaged the host and told her about mouse droppings in the...

« Pictures do the property no justice! Beautiful home on an amazing piece of mountain paradise. The home itself was very clean upon our arrival, and included everything one would expect from a short term rental. The only item missing was an iron, in which they immediately delivered (legit within minutes!) a steamer to the cabin. The hosts were friendly & professional and receptive & responsive to any questions or concerns. Pro tip - secure any goodies & sweet treats in air tight containers. ...
