« We enjoyed our stay at the chicken coup! The house is well located for farm tours, historical mansion tours and breweries. River and post in town was an amazing restaurant book a reservation in advance. Glen the owner was very helpful and friendly he let my daughter feed the chickens on the property which she loved. I cannot recommend this place enough!! »

« Great place for exploring the Hudson Valley area, really close to Rhinebeck and Eleanor Roosevelt Site. The church is super charming, the host was incredibly responsive and we enjoyed our stay! »

« The expansive view of the lake was divine. We saw many red winged blackbirds as well as wood ducks and mallards. On night there was a dramatic electrical storm that came over the mountain and across the water, but we could watch it while feeling cozy and safe in the comfy chairs. The kitchen had all that we needed. The location was a perfect balance of rural and near town. Caught a movie at the Millerton movie house which was enlightening. An excellent escape cottage! Showers were quickly hot....

« I don’t like to leave negative reviews. I know owners of rental properties have a lot to deal with and also manage quite a bit of wear and tear. But this property needs work. On the positive side, it could be a great spot - good location, great views and a really nice frame for the house to take it all in. The owners were courteous, got us plowed out of the snow storm, offered a late check out, and disclosed some of the issues in advance. On the negative side:1. Snow made the entries difficult...

« It was pet friendly, even for a dog, was comfortable for the entire family and is a great location with easy access to surrounding villages. »

« The location is ideal for exploring the Berkshires and cute nearby communities. The interior of the home is updated and comfortable (I’m buying the duvet set for myself!) The yard is not fully fenced in as we were hoping to let our dogs off leash, but we found a great dog park nearby. »
