« Awesome property! If you want a quiet, relaxing experience, this is the place for you! Hiking trails galore. Our host was VERY responsive to any of our questions. Cottage was charming and roomy for 4 adults. Unfortunately we didn’t get to use the pool but it looked refreshing!! Looking forward to another stay here. »

« the property is beautiful and clean, the space is comfortable and cozy, and the atmosphere is to die for! right on the water we were able to bird watch and light a fire in the evening. we had absolutely amazing time the only negative is we hadn’t stayed longer the host made everything easy and included the perfect guide to the house. »

« Where do I start! First day was terrible. Tried to get a refund and after a day of several calls they agreed to refund some of the money. BUT, all the other ones I looked at were rented so no where to go other than a hotel. The house is very very tight. Small bedrooms. The Mattress’s are so bad that you literally feel the springs in your back with the two twins. Way too much junk/stuff everywhere. If you have ANY mobility problems at all, DO NOT rent this place. « Cheryl’s place is a lovely cottage near the lake. We loved everything they did to make our stay more enjoyable, from many pairs of water shoes (definitely helpful for swimming!) to folding chairs, floats, and many different coffee-making options. We also loved the wind chimes and napping bed on the screened-in porch.The swimming was good, although it’s a busy lake with many motor boats. We had some long swims and the water was warm / comfortable. It’s best to swim near shore to avoid the boats....

« Nick and Tiffany were very welcoming and made check-in, check-out and everything in between very easy and seamless. The Blue Elm is a very comfortable cottage and we loved the historic elements that were used. we completely enjoyed our stay there and will stay again when we return to the area to visit family. « What a lovely spot! Beds were so so comfortable and everything was perfect. We attended a wedding just a mile or so down the road so the location was incredible. One thing to note is that the bathroom is in one of the rooms so if two couples went it might be awkward if everyone isn’t 100% comfortable with each other. »

« The house was charming. Everything is clean and updated. Everything from the bedding, to the pots, pans, dishes, and towels were of very nice quality. As cold as it was, the walks by the lake were beautiful and peaceful and the firepit was a great way to end the cold winter days. Leticia was always helpful. She thought of everything, so we really didnt need much! »
