We had to leave very early the next morning to beat a snowstorm and the very long driveway was already sanded and we felt very safe. « All rooms were spotless. The kitchen was well equipped with the exception of a proper pot to boil pasta. The teflon pot was scratched and we were reluctant to use it. Because of the hard well water the dishes coming out of the dishwasher appeared filmy. Not dirty. A good water softener would solve this problem. However, these minor issues compared to the fabulous setting, upkeep, and spaciousness of the home are nothing. Quality mattresses and sheets were on all the beds. Organic soaps, shampoos...
