« We very much enjoyed our stay at the cottage. There are some very good restaurants nearby and it is close to the Castleton campus. We also enjoyed some snowshoeing and mountain biking at Slate Valley Trails. »

« This was exactly as advertised - it is a cottage, not a house! Enough space for the five of us (3 adults and two teenagers) to sleep, but definitely not a place to hang out for a long time. We were out and about all day - Six Flags is literally two minutes down the road, lots of stores nearby, and Lake George about 15 minutes away - so we didn't need a luxurious large rental!The loft space and bunk beds are great for kids, but probably not ideal for adults. Small kitchen - not a lot of space to...

« Very nice accommodation. Three adults and a dog had plenty of room. Loved the covered and uncovered decks. Great views. Kitchen has everything you need, except food/ beverages. I definitely recommend it. »

« Property is beautiful BUT beware the cabins are much smaller than they appear in the photos. The upstairs with the 2 beds is just a crawl space with beds. Not suitable for young kids or anyone tall lol. The steps leading up to that space is dangerous. Make sure to buy the linen package, i didnt even know it exsisted until we arrived and it was to late to purchase. Beware of the slippery floors as well, my kids took many spills on them. The bunkbeds are also in closet NOT room. »

« There are about 10 units on this property; some connected and some free standing. The units are older, but clean and have some updates. The owners were attentive. Beds were comfortable. The screened front porch was nice at the beginning and end of the day. Not a ton of privacy, but a convenient location if you are going to explore the area. You do have to drive a ways to get anywhere. We did not use the river front. I don't know that you would want to swim here. There is no fishing here. »
