« The property was as nice as shown! Well supplied cabin, nicely updated, clean and quiet, the beds were exceptionally comfortable. It was great to listen to the river at night, and super easy to get to Bolton Landing and other nearby towns. This stay would be excellent for a fly fisherman, with a gorgeous river accessible from a trail behind the cabin. Would stay here again for sure. »

« The General's Cabin was a wonderful place for my husband and me to celebrate our anniversary and my birthday. The cabin was exceptionally clean. Melissa had thought of everything you could possibly need. Inside had a well-stocked kitchen, a great coffee/tea bar, lots of little extras to make the stay enjoyable, extra towels, blankets, pillows etc. In the bathrooms there was a basket of soaps, lotions, shampoos and even toothbrushes in case you forgot to bring your own. « My adult daughter, our dog, and I stayed for 2 nights - it was quaint and cozy. We had the gas fireplace on twice when it got chilly outside, and bought our meals from local restaurants and ate them inside the cabin. We went for walks and explored gift shops - the cabin was in a great location. Austin (property host) was excellent - answered my questions and gave suggestions for dining and beaches. My daughter and i had a wonderful, relaxing stay. »

« Property is exactly as explained in the description. Owners are very responsive to messages. Everything you need to know is in the book they leave you and it's very detailed. Everything your could possibly need and then some at the cabin. River is right in the back yard and great swimming. We brought some tubes and spent alot of time just floating around. « The home was perfect for our family of 4 and two small dogs. We enjoyed the long walk to the dock (approximately.36 mile) each morning with our dogs and coffee.
