« We had actually upgraded to a cabin, there was nothing wrong with the motel room, the cabin was more what we wanted. The motel/cabins is off a road which leads to the lake through the Lake George Battlefield Park. To go to the village or the lake is downhill and uphill on the way back to the motel/hotel. The beds were comfortable the cabin/motel was clean and spacious. Pool, fire pits and shuffleboard available. We would stay again »

« We loved this cabin! The location, right on the River was beautiful! It was so chilly while we were there, but we put the heat on and used the electric fireplace and it was super cozy! There is a huge window in the living room, so we could enjoy the view even while inside! The only downside was the water, but the owners made sure there were extra gallons of water and ice for drinking, coffee, and brushing teeth etc. We will definitely visit again! Thank you Steve! »

« The house is very cozy and well located - close to restaurants, grocery, gas and about 20 min to Gore mountain. Furniture, fixtures, etc are a bit dated but overall was comfortable and had what we needed. Plenty of towels, and host provided shampoo, soap etc which many rentals dont have. We did have a few mechanical issues which were generally resolved- host was responsive although its hard to believe they were previously unaware of them. House had a very damp, musty smelling basement that...

« WOW!! I cannot say enough good things about our stay here! It had no reviews but we took a chance anyway and, WOW, what a hidden gem! The cabin (built in 1900ish I believe) is very cozy and nostalgic and fit all of our needs as a family of four. The property is nestled in the Adirondacks right on the edge of Glen Lake and is very serene, peaceful and majestic!! Our two teenage boys were in heaven between fishing from the dock and/or the middle of the lake in one of the three little boats...

« I will say that overall this was a fantastic place to stay. The only negative is the property photos are a little confusing as it looks like the river is closer than it really is. The front and back porches were the places to hang out. The younger adults loved the massage chair. Hot water is plentiful for showers. Fun fact: the intersection nearby is crazy. Many close calls between cars. Seriously though it was everything that our family needed for this vacation. »
