« This property and listing was perfect for our men's retreat weekend getaway. We gathered together and enjoyed being able to spread out in the spacious home. « I stayed at this house in Damascus, Pennsylvania from January 1 to 4 through Vrbo, and what was supposed to be a relaxing getaway turned into a complete nightmare. On January 3, the propane ran out in the evening, and the heating stopped working entirely. The host knew the gas was low but didn’t bother to arrange for any backup heating options. « We loved staying in this house. So quaint. Only drawback was the musty smell that permeated our clothes, and the bathroom light quit working. (Fortunately it happened on the morning we were checking out.). We would have loved to be able to see the rest of the house. »

« Rented this house for a family summer vacation along the Delaware. Location is beautiful! Easy access to the river, great view and very cozy living spaces. Very close drive the Callicoon which has many great small businesses. We really enjoyed our stay! »

« Host was very responsive and kind. Only concern was heat discrepancies between bedrooms. Some were very warm and other not warm enough. Space heaters were available to us which was helpful. »

« The house is great! The common areas on the main floor are huge with lots of space to gather even large groups. Downstairs was good with the game room and a couple of bedrooms.As others have said, there is NO hand soap in the bathrooms. Some of the consumables - dishwasher detergent, paper towels, etc. - were also a little low.We very much enjoyed our stay and we'd stay here again if we have the need or opportunity! »

« The house was wonderful and comfortably accommodated my large family. We had a great time using the outdoor space and really enjoyed our time there. It was quiet enough to get away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to grocery stores and other places. Check-in was also easy and the host was very communicative. »

« We loved our stay here. This space/property is the perfect natural oasis/escape from the city; it was exactly what we were looking for, gorgeous natural light, lots of windows, a huge yard, tons of nature/animals, fire pit, hiking nearby, the river access is perfect and even an active bald eagle nest! I slept like a baby the entire trip. Checking in/out was easy. We absolutely will be coming back for round two asap - highly recommend staying here ! »
