« It's a pretty simple first floor apartment with the owner living upstairs. It's bigger than expected. Decent location about a 20-minute walk to downtown. »

« Everything was very nice. Clean and welcoming. The ability to do laundry was greatly appreciated after climbing peaks. The only issue was an inability to open the wifi. »

« Perfect spot for visiting our student at UVM. Close to the school and church street and the owner had so many thoughtful extras. Worked out great for us. »

« We were 5 adults on a bike trip in this beautiful area. The owner allowed us to park our bikes in his garage. Clean, and comfortable and very well stocked. Nice place to stay. »

« Check in and check out was a breeze. The kitchen was very nice. The overall cleanliness was pretty good. The property manager was responsive and very nice. The amenities were very good. Plenty of towels, trash bags, toilet paper, free coffee, dishes and glasses, microwave and dishwasher. Free Netflix and other apps. The bathroom was nice and clean. « 5 stars isn't enough when it came to this place. Everything was wayyyyyy above my expectations. The location just overlooking Mallet's Bay was breathtaking. This place served as our home base while we explored the state up to the Canadian border. The state itself is severely underrated and deserves more attention. Dave and Renee made us feel right at home. One thing is for sure, this isn't goodbye. This is "see you next time", because we will DEFINITELY be back. »

« We wanted to be near our daughter on campus, but also wanted a roomy, quiet place to stay and this was perfect! Our adult son joined us and needed a place to work remotely. The duplex is on a quiet cul-de-sac about 10 minutes from campus. Loved the screened in porch, too. Communication with owners was top-notch! We've stayed at many VRBOs and this was probably the best communication I've experienced. All questions were answered promptly and when we needed to add a night, responded quickly. House...

« The cabin was comfortable and welcoming. Very clean and functional. Beds were comfortables. We cooked all our meals,.the kitchen was well equipped. Bring water because the water is coming from a well ( hosts provided bottled water at arrival. We loved the view on the pound from the cabin. Easy access to a small beach where the kids could play in the sand. We went hiking about 20-30 minutes from the cabin. Well situated. Loved the decoration! On a rainy morning we tried to count all the bears!...

« House was beautiful and very clean. Great location to with a very short walk into town but with the quietness you want when staying in Lake Placid. Host is great and very communicative. Had great outdoors, hike recommendations as well as restaurants. I would definitely stay here again. »

« Great location in Lake Placid—walking distance to a few brew pubs and the Adirondack Rail Trail; a little further walk to downtown, but makes the location quieter from the main hustle and bustle. Unit was well-appointed with a good selection of dishes that allowed us to do a mixture of eating in and eating out.
