« Very nice quiet cabin located right on a small river. Very close to the trails. It snowed while we were there which is no big deal. Instead of the trails we went to the village and mall to just walk around both were close by and the art museum. So was easy to adjust plans due to the weather. »

The property has multiple cozy seating areas including a large front porch, perfect for relaxing after a long day. The location is secluded enough to get away from it all, while still being conveniently close to anything you need.The hosts were extremely kind and helpful and took great care with all the details that make a trip memorable. « Our stay at Giant’s View cabin was a one of adventure and tranquility! The cabin itself was very warm and inviting. The views of the mountains were spectacular! Our favorite part outside of hiking and fishing was rocking in the comfy chairs in the screened in porch. The weather was hot while we were there but we stayed cool by utilizing the provided fans. We even got to see a family of deer crossing in front of the cabin. We would highly recommend this cabin to anyone who wants to get away...

« This is a hidden gem. Great location and it is perfect for a couple or family. My wife and I (just 2) rented the cabin and loved every minute. Hiked in the area for over 20 miles and then you are close to so many other things. One, driving distance to Montreal, Canada where we had a fabulous lunch and shopping and were back at the cabin for dinner. « This was our first visit to Wilmington NY. The house and the location are wonderful. A very peaceful environment and the house is comfortable and nicely appointed. The location on Quaker Mtn Rd is the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy quiet. Lots of good hiking trails around the area and getting to Lake Placid is easy and "just down the road".
