« Moreno's Cottages are a pleasant series of little cabins between Lake Placid and Saranac Lake. My brother and I stayed in #7. There were two twin beds, a nook and a small, separate kitchen area. It was rustic, but modern enough to feel like you had a place to relax after a hike. We did have some problems getting in, but Todd was super accommodating and had backup codes for us to use. « Rented this house for its proximity to the Adirondack mountains and hiking trails and we were not dispointed! Also did a bit of fly fishing! The house provided all the comfort we needed and the owners were great to help us with tons of information! Overall a great family vacation. »

There's a Dollar General a couple of minutes away where you can buy a lot of stuff, food and beer, for liquor there's a gas station in front of it that sells some. We were 2 couples on a fishing trip and we had a great time and experience, I highly recommend the place. »
