« We absolutely loved our stay at this property. The interior design was fabulous with its quirky collections of toys and Art Deco touches. The slightly ‘faded glory’ only added to the appeal for us. Our group was six adults (the two of us plus our adult children with partners) and the property appealed due to the three large double bedrooms. « We loved our stay and felt ‘so at home’ at the cottage which was cosy, well-furnished and well equipped. Communication was excellent and the host was very helpful. »

« The house was fantastic. Very well equipped and the younger boys loved the bunk bed room (especially the tv in their room). The town centre is easily accessible from the house and so is open walking space. Lovely beaches within easy reach and breakfast or lunch at the Guardhouse Café on Berry Head is a must. The owner was great. Fantastic communication and a lovely selection of goodies on arrival. Highly recommended this property. »

« Superb property, exceptionally clean and crisp would not hesitate to stay again,Just one little moan when booking it states parking available once confirmed booking there is no parking available for this property only car parks which are a considerable walk away »

« Very very helpful hosts- nothing was too much trouble. It rained hard most of the week we spent at Roxedge so the pool table & cinema room were invaluable. Lovely garden with great views & a hot tub which because of the weather we were only able to use 3 times. Providing beach towells was an added bonus. A wonderful hamper was left for us with lots of goodies including some very special eggs with the yellowish yokes we had ever seen.The Easter eggs were good too. »

« The house was quirky and spacious for our group of 6. It was clean and the bedding and towels were nice. while some beds were comfortable one of the beds was very uncomfortable with maverick springs sticking up all over the place making it very difficult to find a comfortable spot to get any sleep. The only bathroom is very tired and could do with an update. There was plenty of crockery and good knives but thepans were not big enough to cater for 6. »

« We enjoyed a relaxing weekend in torquay Everything was clean and tidy. The hosts were great and easy to contact. Local amenities were close by making it easy and convenient for our needs. We slept well in the comfortable beds and I enjoyed the well equipped kitchen. »

« The property was fabulous, quite easy to find. We did have trouble with the locks on arrival but soon sorted this out. The property has everything you need for a holiday plus extras. Shops easy to access and we had several barbeques which we are unable to do at home due to living in a city centre apartment. Loved the garden but it was a bit overlooked and several chats with neighbours were had, which was ok. Very peaceful, once the dog stopped barking at fresh air but it was not a problem as we...
