Great hotel the two bed room is set up in such a smart way. Both sides of the two rooms have their own air conditioning units and tvs. Cozy hotel. On the main road. If you like old buildings and the architecture its perfect!
Loved this hotel and will definitely be back! The only issue was parking confusion when we first arrived. We were able to park in the dirt lot behind the hotel, so it all worked out. My mom uses a cane, and was able to get into the side door and up the elevator just fine. Thank goodness they also have the carts to take your luggage up. Our room was huge with two beds, not next to each other, so it almost felt like two rooms. The mini fridge was very convenient. And the coffee shop downstairs was great the next morning. Highly recommend this hotel!
Beautifully restored property. The bed! I can't say enough about how comfortable this bed was. The rooms are very quiet at night and so is the area, we slept with the window open, and it was just perfectly quiet. The front desk was very friendly and even went above and beyond to go buy some tums for my boyfriend, because they were out, and bring them to the hotel for him. The coffee shop opens at 6:30 am and they make a great latte. They use LavAzza coffee, which was a bonus for me. This is now one of our favorite hotels and we will be back.
Nice hotel
Spacious rooms that are super clean.
Man at counter was busy doing something on his phone when I came to counter and didnât acknowledge me. I had to ask if this was where I checked in. He was ok after that but lacked personality. The gal at checkout was a great improvement.
The room was great but I was expecting a bath tub and the room had a small shower.
The tile was beautiful but the grout needed a scrubbing.
The shower had powerful water pressure with a control that only was on full blast for warm water. The shower head was just not suitable for that size of shower. My grandson came out of the shower laughing and my granddaughter opted for a cold shower to avoid the blast.
All in all, I would definitely go back but I would get a room with a tub verses a shower.
Belvada Hotel has all the things we look for in a road trip stopping place. It is not a chain, it is conveniently located and has enough history to keep curious minds engaged!
The stay was great after we got through the check in process. The person behind the counter wasnât friendly and didnât answer questions without provocation. It was not welcoming and left us struggling to figure out what was next and what we could do.
The hotel itself is a beautiful throwback to the past. Very cool furnishings in the lobby. Nicely done! The room is rather spacious and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom is tiny and the shower won't keep water inside. The curtain blows out of the stall and the floor gets flooded. This is a small old mining town. It has a lot of history, but don't expect a bid city environment. I'm glad we stayed there for the experience.
