BOULDER CABIN is an open-concept, rustic yet modern, antique-filled cabin . Perfect for working remotely with TWO work spaces! Set on a boulder-filled, wooded double lot in the amenity-filled Pocono Farms Country Club (w/lake, pool, golf course, restaurant & more), this is the perfect balance of mountain house charm and modern vibes. Exposed wood beams and vaulted ceilings throughout, cozy fireplace and two hanging wicker chairs make it the perfect setting for couples, families & friends!
INSIDE
On the first floor, you will find open-concept living and dining areas, modern kitchen and bathroom and master bedroom, full bathroom with tub/shower, laundry area and three seasons/game room. Master bedroom has a large workspace set up with 43” 4GTV easily used as second monitor, wireless charger, USB charger and outlet for all of you devices.
In the main living space, you will find a wood pellet stove, which is the best of all worlds when it comes to heating and being cozy. It couldn't be easier to keep the fire going and the room at the desired temperature while also enjoying the real flames of a wood fire behind a beautiful glass door in the rustic stove. Bags of wood pellets are provided for your convenience, of course.
Charming kitchen with gorgeous quartz countertops and hickory wood cabinets includes all the basics plus coffee maker, keurig, blender, crock pot, and juicer. The kitchen opens up to the main space and also has access to our newly renovated three seasons room. Three seasons room has three skylights and 17 windows, a foosball table, two romantic wicker hanging chairs, and a breakfast table for six. The swing chairs are the perfect place to grab a blanket and enjoy coffee with your significant other or best friend. The incoming sunlight and beautiful views of the wooded yard make this room extremely relaxing.
Upstairs is a gorgeous antique-filled loft and two bedrooms (all with vaulted, wood ceilings): a bunk bed room and a master bedroom with 4GTV. There is also another full bath with stand-up shower upstairs. The loft is one of a kind and embodies the Pocono Mountains; it also has a huge stash of games, both vintage and modern, as well as a leather queen sized sleeper sofa, which you will forget is a sofa bed the minute you lay down.
OUTSIDE
Outside you can enjoy any of three decks, each with their own style. Out front our lower deck has plenty of seating and a table for four where you can eat or hang out outside plus a small upper deck with a couple of chairs for viewing the huge wooded lot. Out back, you will find another table with seating for a larger group and a wood pellet smoker/grill with electronic control. The smoker grill couldn't be easier to use and we stock several flavors of wood pellets so you can be a smoking or grilling king with no prior experience. Also out back there is a propane fireplace where you can roast s'mores or enjoy some conversation by a fire.
Cabin is on a double lot, filled with great boulders, trails running throughout the property, a small tree fort, benches and four Adirondack chairs and a lot of other interesting finds. Directly across the street is a preserved space with a trail connecting three quant openings in the woods - a super peaceful place to enjoy nature.
TECHNOLOGY (TVs, workstations, etc.)
The main space, master bedroom, and queen upstairs bedrooms all have new 4K UHD Roku smart TVs. In the master bedroom is a workstation with a wireless charger, USB and standard outlets, and a HDMI hookup to the 43" 4K TV so you can use it as a second monitor. Upstairs there is desk in one of the bedrooms which also makes a nice work station.
You can also find an Echo (Alexa) devices in the kitchen.
GUESTS WITH CHILDREN
As parents of young kids we keep our house stocked with children’s toys (see pictures) and many other toddler items you are welcome to use including two port-a-cribs, high chair, walker and double stroller. Please request the items you are interested in at the time of booking. Note: There is a permanent gate at the top of the stairs, however the bottom of the stairs is not gated. As with any property, child supervision is necessary at all times. We also have a gate around the fireplace which is available upon request at time of booking.
Guests have access to the entire property (minus the garage and crawl space) as well as all of the amenities in the community. These include outdoor pool and lake (seasonal), country club restaurant, golf course (also seasonal), play ground, tennis, pickle ball, bocce ball and volleyball courts.

Pocono Farms Country Club is an AMAZING community which offers many amenities: pool, lake, golf course, restaurant overlooking the lake as well as a great lakeside playground. There are also pickle ball courts, tennis courts, bocce ball courts, shuffle board, soccer field, volleyball court and fishing dock. Most of these outdoor amenities are open dawn to dusk until the first snow fall of the year. From Memorial Day to Labor Day, your reservation includes six pool passes (more can be purchased upon arrival). In the Winter months, sledding and cross country skiing are allowed on the golf course and ice skating is allowed on the lake when the weather permits. The office within the community determines when these activities are safe to perform and can be called at any time with questions!

The neighborhood is very nice to walk, jog or bike around! We are about a mile from the lake, pool and other amenities. We do offer a one person kayak and life jackets/paddle which needs to be transported between the cabin and the lake by car/van/truck.
No public transportation in this area. Uber and Lyft available but availability is limited at certain hours.
