Relaxed, reconnected and very happy.
From arrival to departure, our stay was everything we hoped for and more besides. Perfect location and facilities within the complex are excellent. We came for a relaxing, time for us break and that’s exactly what we got. Left feeling relaxed, reconnected and happy. We will definitely be back.

Portavadie - Lovely Spot
Overall our stay was really nice. The resort is v well kept, peaceful and the staff are friendly and helpful. It was a bit limiting that leisure facilities were only open 10 till 5.30 as people are often out for the day and would like to be able to access these earlier or when they return later as well. We fully appreciated however that recent circumstances may have been a factor and so perhaps this is something that could be looked at in the future.

Nice but not Luxury as described
The hotel is described as a 'Luxury hotel and spa' - the room was fine, but I wouldn't describe it as 'luxury'. The bathroom and shower were quite small and the room just had one small window. The breakfast food was very nice, but the coffee was instant - which I wouldn't expect in a 'luxury' hotel.

Papa and Granddaughter Great getaway.
Absolutely BRILLIANT our stay was better than we could've imagined. Hotel and spa were fantastic. We had booked the spa for 4pm but got lost on our journey. I called the hotel and they said don't worry we will change it if possible for your arrival and they did. The restaurant was fully booked too but again the staff came good and managed to fit us in. Next day when we were leaving and I was short on petrol the staff came to the rescue again and we were able to buy fuel from the marina.Just to let you reviewers know I was riding a motorbike. The food was excellent both at dinner and next day breakfast. Only word of advice would be book early for the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Really can't praise the staff highly enough. I will definitely be going back. Brilliant hotel in a fantastic setting and second to none staff.

Great stay- cottages cosier than ever
3rd time staying in the cottages- i think they might have added new windows to them or new heaters.. the cottages were wonderfully warm and cosy, making the experience even better than before. the pool is as magnificent as ever- lovely and warm. staff are very helpful indeed and fussed over every dog in the place. There's really nothing to fault here at all

A lovely location with a great pool and leisure facilities. The food in the restaurant was good but the service was only so so. That said, I'd be happy to visit again at some point.

Fantastic stay in portavadie. The food in the restaurant was top quality and the spa was a relaxing, unique experience with amazing views. The room was equipped with everything we needed and had a nice scenic view.

The staff are excellent here !and are happy to chat...good atmosphere is the restaurant at dinner & lunch....food was lovely. Outdoor hot tub was not on but the heated outdoor pool was so warm and relaxing. Beautiful views from the pool. We stayed in a twin lodge and it was quiet small. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean.

Great place, shame about the Lodge Cafe and bar.
Great place for a break, pools and spa are brilliant. We stayed at the lodge which has really comfortable rooms. We stayed here before at the lodge which had a bar and cafe which was excellent. Sadly this is no longer open, which really is a shame, as you now have to go the main building for a snack or a pint during the day. Apart from that i can't recommend this place high enough.

Brilliant stay in lovely 2 bedroom Luxury Apartment with sauna looking onto the marina. We had fun in the spa and enjoyed delicious food and cocktails in the restaurant. Staff in restaurant and reception were all superb. Thanks Jamie and gentlemen back from Texas for looking after us so well. A terrific, memorable mums and daughters trip.

Overall experience was great. The staff especially were excellent. They were really attentive and friendly. Unfortunately the pillows were really flat and the bedroom was far too hot, so we had to sleep with the window wide open even though it was January. Sleep was very broken. Apart from that, the swimming pool was well maintained and managed and the food was excellent.

Lovely stay. Our second time here. Food is great, rooms are lovely, welcoming and dog friendly. Not a fan of the menu being all online as prefer to have dinner without phones around. Breakfast was limited choice but tasty Will be back. Love it

Excellent accommodation in a beautiful location!
Excellent overall. Beautiful location, lovely accommodation and a heavenly infinity pool! We loved our meal there too! There was a little hiccup with my room for the first night and changed to another for the second, but staff were lovely, accommodating and very friendly and helpful. I’d love to come up and stay again in the future- I feel totally relaxed after my stay.
