Seul bémol: le quartier étant celui du médical center, hélicoptères et ambulances au rdv non stop! »

Nice size pool, cool community center. The only issue is the area behind the building where there is a lot of homeless by the train station. « Small, but has what u need. The outside tard is a shared space, but we had no problems with it. Beds were slightly uncomfortable, but I haven't been in a bunkbed in decades, so we kind of expected this. After a long day i was still able to sleep well. A little disappointed that we couldn't change thermostat, but that could have been user error. It wasn't so bothersome that I felt I should call someone, but we would have liked it warmer, we just bundled up more. The listing does state...

« We stayed one night prior to our cruise out of Galveston. This one is perfect for short or long stay. It’s just one block from the ocean which can be seen from this location. Jamie the host is helpful with anything you need including directions, restaurants, island history, etc. if you’re cruising she will let you park and take you and pick you up at the cruise port. Great experience and value for your money. »
