« The staff are always pleasant, friendly and welcoming. The lodges are always clean & extremely dog friendly, it’s lovely to have the wooded area to the beach. Just a few observations on this stay: please could each lodge be given a tiered airer for drying clothes, the current ones are so inadequate & unstable. We asked Receptionist & was told ‘No’ however on approaching Housekeeping, she was really helpful & arranged for one that day - what a difference in customer service! Perfectly...

« Lovely spacious lodge. Clean and comfortable. Looking tired in a few places-floor lifting in bathroom, switches and lights are wonky/wobbly.Lack of cushions and kitchen equipment (3 glasses, no bowls for serving) The hot tub was lovely, but could do with a service.Overall, a great lodge and would revisit and recommend, but it does need some tlc. »

« The space and layout of the house is amazing. Very good for a larger family of 6 adults. The dining room view was very beautiful. The whole house is very well presented and offers great natural light throughout the house. The swimming pool and outside area is fabulous. Our favourite place to be. Great hot tub and my daughter loved the swing seat in the garden nook The bedrooms were a good size and the beds are very comfortable. The modern decor throughout the house is very nice....

« We have been to this site many times over the years, there has always been a good standard of quality on site in lodges. In this Lodge, Tennyson premier lodge, there were a number of shabby issues due to wear and age. Cupboards in the kitchen were in need of repair, washing machine door, rusty frying pan only 2 saucepans for making food for eight people. Lack of cupboard space for storing food. Bed in first bedroom was missing decoration, which just looked needing repair. »

« We found Riverside Lodge delightful, inside and out. Very peaceful and a pretty setting, with constant birdsong, visiting ducks, scampering squirrels, wandering deer and an evening flyby from a kingfisher. We went out less than we normally would because it was a treat to be lazy there, especially as we’d splashed out on the hot tub.
