Adobe Arches - The Armadillo

Nestled against a quiet hill and overlooking the Eastwood Mesa, our trio of stucco casitas offers a serene retreat 17 minutes from Big Bend National Park. Each one-room adobe casita is a blend of simplicity and comfort. Featuring minimalist interiors and distinctive arched doors that uniquely frame the desert scenery.

Our trio of stucco Villas are located on 18 acres of the beautiful Chihuahuan Desert. Each with a queen bed, inside restroom/shower, AC/Heat, and a billion stars! Very nice outdoor seating that has shade structure to protect you from the desert sun.

Our guests have access to the 18 acres we sit on. The stucco Villa that you have reserved, and a beautiful sky!

Terlingua Ranch has over 200k acres of property. It is all privately owned. Please do not drive down dirt roads exploring the area.
Please plan to bring drinking water for your stay, the water supply for the house is rainwater catchment.

As our guests you MUST CONSERVE WATER. Rain is scarce in the desert and every drop is precious. Please limit showers to 5 minutes and do not leave the tap running while brushing teeth.

2 pets per Villa. Total of 6.
We love pets, but you will need to pick up after your pet. Pets are not allowed on the beds and must be crated if left unattended. You are responsible for any damages from your pet. The pet fee does NOT cover damages from your pet.

We allow events with approval. Please be responsible, do not break anything, and clean up after yourself. If extra cleaning is necessary, you will be charged for our housekeepers time.

Absolutely NO smoking inside the Villa. NO vaping inside the Villa.

Please wash dishes and turn off lights before leaving.

Guests must use caution while walking on the property, especially at night when it can be very dark. Guests need to be alert while outside to avoid tripping on rocks, or contacting local vegetation (cacti, etc.) and animals (snakes, etc.). Guests and their children are strictly prohibited from entering within 15 feet of the edge of any cliff, arroyo, crevasse, overhang or similar elevated drop off. Guests assume risk/responsibility for exploring the property.
Late checkouts without prior approval will be charged for an extra nights stay if it impacts our housekeepers ability to get in and clean in time.
