« Typisch britisch, kleines Cottage , gemütlich .Nicht geeignet für ältere , da die Treppe zu den Schlafzimmern sehr steil ist .Darauf sollte man achten …Ansonsten sehr schön , in der Nähe kann man gleich einkaufen und in wenigen Kilometern erreicht man rye , welches man unbedingt besuchen sollte . »

« We had a wonderful stay in the Cart Lodge cottage. Location was perfect - easily accessible from the main yet very quiet and secure with plenty of parking. Cottage had everything we needed - including very comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen (we cooked multiple times) and a cozy sitting room. Best feature: the sheep! Loved watching them from the window and feeding them digestive biscuits in the morning. We would definitely stay again. »

« The landlady was very helpful and we even got a coupon from gardener’s world to visit gardens for half price. We could eat the plums and apples from the trees.On arrival there were flowers and a welcome package of essentials. She was the best landlady you could have. »

« An idyllic, peaceful spot and a well appointed, clean and cosy cottage/annex.The track leading to the accommodation was a little tricky to navigate owing to some significant potholes, but picking our way up to the property was well worth it. Pauline was incredibly welcoming, without being overbearing, and it was a joy to meet her dog and horses. The quiet, rural views were wonderful to wake up to! »

« Lovely hosts. The cottage was clean, comfortable and very well equipped, don’t worry if you’ve forgotten anything! Has been decorated since photographs were taken so now more country cottage than Scandinavian. Terrace and outside of property very dusty but it is a farm yard and the weather was extremely hot. The cottage stayed cool if you kept the curtains closed during the day. Loads to do in Kent, would recommend Hythe, Leeds castle, Sissinghurst castle gardens (especially the tour of the...
