« This hotel is absolutely 5 star the owners and staff are so friendly and helpful and cannot do enough for you. The rooms are soo beautiful and comfortable such attention to detail. As a vegetarian I had the vegetarian breakfast it was soo tasty I had it two days in a row I can honestly say I have never had such a good breakfast at a hotel before. Again the same goes for the evening meals. I recommend this hotel 100%. Location is perfect for discovering Ludlow and surrounding villages. »

« The room was clean, staff nice enough , food ok, but generally the whole place was a bit grubby and the smell of old cooking oil a bit off putting when you walked in. The outside could do with some help generally and some real tlc. Yes parking good and dog friendly with some quiet lanes round the back to walk the dog in a pretty village and very interesting church yard. »

« A comfortable and clean room and a quiet location. Staff were attentive and helpful. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Had evening meals there too which were very good. Would stay there again. »

« Lovely old pub in beautiful location, excellent breakfast, with home made preserves. The dinner menu looked very exciting but sadly we were dining elsewhere. Staff most helpful, carrying luggage and providing information. There is an onsite brewery! The night was extremely hot, so difficult to sleep, but very comfortable bed and well equipped room. The bathroom could have done with refurbishment to the tiling and taps, but was acceptable. There is a large parking area, by the river garden. »
