« Really nice stay that is quite close to the bamboo forest entrance. The owner ran the front desk and was so sweet. She left a heartfelt personalized card in our roommwith two perfect origami. The room was really great - she made us aware that there are limited views because of the location, but ymwe could still see the Arashkima forest from our balcony.
Nespresso in the room (huge plus!), high quality green tea with a beautiful tea set, and great japanese amenities. »

« The room, bathroom, AND the shower are probably the biggest of all the hotels where we’ve stayed in Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto.
Did not feel cramped whatsoever.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.

« We had a lovely stay here during our 3-week honeymoon in Japan. It is a glamping experience…. no tents though.
Your room is in pre-fabricated units. It features big glass windows that open up wide to enjoy your outdoor surroundings, but also close up with complete privacy. Each unit has an excellent shower, with toilet and wash area. There is also climate control for each unit. There is no TV, but who needs it?!

It is a perfect location if you are looking to wake up early and walk to the bamboo forest, you can be one of the first people there. « The room was within walking distance from the bamboo forest and local restaurants. It was hard to find dining at night because some restaurants close early and you have to cross bridge to search for other restaurants. Too many gnats flying around. Gnats were also in the rooms. The staff were really nice and very helpful and patient. »

"J'ai réservé 2 chambres pour mes parents, ma sœur et moi. Les matelas étaient très durs et les lits en "cuvette", donc difficile de dormir. Mais la difficulté principale a été que la clim de la 2e chambre ne fonctionnait pas et personne à l'accueil pour aider !
Avec des températures extérieures à 38° à 2h du matin impossible de dormir..."

L’hôtel est propre, le personnel est à l’écoute et attentionné. Les ramens offerts de 21h à 23h sont délicieux ! Les chambres sont propres et spacieuses.
Quant aux bains (Onsen), quel plaisir ! "
"Everything is accessible near this hotel; food, markets, bus, drugstore, restaurants, you name it. Room is a bit smaller than those in APA hotels for example but it isn't an issue. Check-in is at 4 pm contrary to other hotels that are at 3 pm. Great staff and the place is very clean."

"Bel hôtel avec un parfait emplacement. Les chambres sont propres et spacieuses, plusieurs produits d’hygiène sont mis à disposition.
Tres peu d’interaction avec le personnel qui n’est pas très arrangeant : nous avons utilisé le séchoir 4 fois sans que le linge soit séché et ils ont refusé de nous donner des jetons supplémentaires ou nous rembourser."

"Great hotel! It’s located close to an important train / subway station, so it’s easy to move within Kyoto. It’s also close to the Kyoto castle and some other historical sites. A great plus is the personnel - everyone was really helpful and nice, ready to help whenever needed. Last but not least, the bedrooms were amazing!!! The beds are very confortable and big, the room is spacious and everything was very clean. Really recommend it!"
